"Many years after, Kai returned to the Ice Queen. There was nothing left from the boy she once took in that palace. Kai was now a man - he looked like a man but inside of him fought desperately the boy that could never stop himself from loving her. She seemed the same, cold and immortal, but despite her godlike nature her lips couldn`t help twisting a smile."I could call this a fanfic for Hans Christian Andersen`s Snow Queen
Ok I`m so done drawing cheesy stuff. I promise. Really. I will stop.
This piece is mostly done in ink and then recolored in photshop so please...mind a full view for me. It took almost two seasons of Fresh Prince of Bel Air to finish it.

Okay, I really stopped by with an open mind to this, but...I dunno. :S Drawing-vise it's very nice with very good attention to detail. I especially love the detail on the floor, the background and the leaves.
And now, personal opinion time! The Snow Queen is probably one of my most beloved stories of all time and while I can easily suspend by disbelief more than enough to picture the Queen pulling Kai back to her...there's just something I don't like about this rendition. First of all, the blood. I'm reeeeeally stretching myself here, but it still seemed unnatural to me to imagine her as downright vicious in this regard. Sure, she's evil and all, but this seems so far from her nature. My main problem is that regardless the detail and all that, she just doesn't give me the impression of the Snow Queen. I just can't see her as the Empress of Winter like this, especially with all the red. I love red in general, but it's just not a color I associate with winter.
Well, anyway, that's just my opinion, I still think you've done a great job overall. 83

genial!! faptul ca ai acordat atata timp detaliilor este de-a dreptul remarcabil!
imi place foarte mult efectul de 'overflowing' al rochiei si detaliile ma fac sa ma uit de 'n' ori in acelasi loc, lasa loc de interpretare a detaliului la tot pasul!
pe cat ai lucrat tu pe atat o sa ne delectam noi cu 'interpretarile'! bravo!... si multumim
