It's been awhile since I updated Liam's reference sheet. The last sheet was drawn in 2013 and it was made of mostly already completed works. Since it was done so long ago and he happens to be my figure head, I thought it would be good for me to update his reference. Liam was inspired by Summer Wars, King Kazma and the concept of OZ. I wanted to create a representation/avatar that I could use online. While I do have a fursona Gray, I'm more recognized for Liam. He tends to be the favorite or more recognized design when people look at my characters.

Liam is a cyborg cat. He was created by Rorick Matrin. Rorick was a scientist trying to out do his colleagues by creating a cyborg that had the perfect balance of robotic and organic parts. Liam's body is a mix of metal and living tissue. The outside is covered in a durable rubber like material(not shiny, think stress ball) that protects his burned and damaged skin from hurting. He has the ability to change his arms into various weapons that he uses for battle or domestic use(can opener, silverware, etc.)

Liam doesn't talk much. He has the ability tp talk with a voice box but hates the way it sounds. He tends to only use this with strangers who need spoken word. Even though he doesn't use his voice box, he uses many other ways of communicating. He'll use methods such as hooking into other computers for typing and clicks and whistle sounds every now and then. The one he uses most commonly are hand gestures or sign language.

While Liam has the ability to morph his hands into weapons, he tends to use another type of weapon. Liam has a collection of small robotic spiders that are programmed to carry out various tasks. Some of these include, hacking, recording sound and video and exploding. This little robots are controlled from Liam's head where he can monitor them.

Since Liam is my figurehead and I use him for many other things, his profession and environment/home change depending. In his main origin story, he's a superhero.
