I'm not even going to try and defend this. I just made this for the bloody hell of it. Also, look, Data is in character. No emotions yay.Actually I wanted to draw Data. Then I was thinking about how creepy some of his fangirls are. And how much I do not want to meet the very creepy ones.
And I need to practice my anatomy, especially arms. So yeah, it's a trapped Data.

Wow! I could never take advantage of a person in such a situation but...the way his anatomy is so pleasingly displayed...another three degrees anticlockwise and you'd see his off switch. Very well rendered!
I agree about Data having emotions and not recognizing them for what they are. Data clearly has opinions and preferences. I think Soong just keyed them WAY down after Lore, playing it safe!

No contractions, our Data, until that one episode . . . . and Brent threw in, "I'm fine," just to see if anyone would notice. I thought it showed that Data was finally becoming more human; after all, he intended to kill a man and his programming should have prevented him from doing that except to save one of his fellow crewmates!

If Lore could feel hatred -- and he did -- then Data can feel but he doesn't realize it. Too bad they never worked on that while the series was running, and didn't use it much in the movies, either. *sigh*

They never addressed his reaction of Tasha's death with the installation of the emotion chip in that one movie too... it was clear that he liked her, and not just cuz she laid him either.

There are times I wish computers hadn't gotten so necessary for every day life. I prefer to hold a fanzine so I can read it and study the artwork to a screen that I have to hold in an odd way or not be able to see . . . . and I don't have a Kindle or Nook, but I've got friends who do and all they want is to read on their tool.

Yeah, I liked to read on my ipod touch (before it got destroyed in an accident) but that was because that was the only way I could read my Star Trek novels.

Kindles, Nooks, Ipods -- some of them can download fan fic, luckily, as well as manga, novels, comics . . . . I don't have one and I'd have to have one that shows the pictures in color, too.

I hope I get a new one, but mainly because I love music...all the time. That's what it was used for, I didn't have any games on it (because I really couldn't be bothered) it was music and books.
