ok…I starting to be tired of this shit… call me a grumpy kid but still…I get those “soul eater” relatives comments on my Smtry the gardener pictures and comic over and over again!… i KNOW that smtry have white hair….and shark teeth…. just like soul eater evans?….but pls understand… smtry is not a fucking ripoff or coloroff you name it. smtry is his own character with his own comic. i had made a picture full of references of anime people with shark teeth and white hair. Soul is not the only one… but i can understand that people don’t know other characters because..soul eater is a veeery huge popular anime in the whole world. and still its awesume. but just because my character had white hair and shark teeth it dos’t mean they are relatives or something. i still can see those fanfictions and pictures over the internet with crossovers when smtry plays as souls SON!… well…as a fun thing OK!…but people need to understand this is’t canon!
People also comment on my comic and pictures that Smtry and Corp reminds them of CRONA and ragnarok (also from souleater) crona is an very psychotic and paranoid person who is very afraid all the time! And Ragnarok who is Cronas living weapon and blood is very mean againgst all and crona as well. he is not really a good “person” and he use to hit crona over and over again!…
SMtry is a very nice and calm guy! he can be naiv sometime but not stupid. he is pretty social and not a lonely person. And can see love in the most people.
Corp is not evil…but he has a very dark humor. he don’t hit smtry. he is smtrys “eyes” (because smtry are blind from the birth) Corp don’t hate smtry. and smtry don’t hate corp. they are a team! smtry don’t care what corp really says even if he can be ruff and maybe a bit mean. but he is not EVIL just a bit insane xD

I love them to death but crona is kind of a pussy, and smtry is brave and courage as able to meet friends and trust people even though hes fucking BLIND. I could say ONE thing that soul eater do not bring up...well they bring up 'legends' ....but other myths and folke? OH HELL NO! ...but you do. You do your own way with Smtry and bring up about trolls, gnomes and such on..and you bring something else which is about 'sexuality' like Smtry's fathers. Besides, in Japan is it kind of forbidden to even public some stuff (well hentai companies are awesome) but to be gay there is harder than people think. They even got a own china town to go there and be gay, how fun is that? nada.
Even if Smtry have shark teeth or so...why do not people take my character like Pisces? (reason why show why) Yes there is a good example..why is he kind of like a shark? shouldn't he be a fish? Kind of, but sharks are mammal, fishes arent. Plus to see closer you see the pisces (the fishes) are 2...which is kind of like..ying and yang.
That is people must understand, Smtry isnt related to soul eater (not ying and yang), the body type or his face (not ying and yang either) ...BUT to go really back in anime story and all...WHO had shark teeth? *rubs her chin* ...Devilman series had shark teeth (well sharp), then we have more cartoons for children which dinosaurs had (shark teeth)....but to really go more closer to the subject..would the shark teeth thing goes to the shark demon...and there was even crocodile-fishes!!! (if you read the story about Ōkuninushi helps the white hare of Inaba.)
Now kids...the last I said now, doesn't that sound random to you? Guess again, Japan has many mythology things and some sound pretty copy too. Japan people love to mix and make...so think of Soul from Soul eater...he has a mix of a young guy maybe around his age 16, cool edge and so...add this shark teeth and walla! .....you get a shark soul. Oh did I even say Rin from...what the hell the series is called..free? yeah that one..why does he have shark teeth? ...is it because he's a swimmer? ....no shit Sherlock.
So why cannot Smtry be the white hare of Inaba (yes white) with some spots and shark teeth? Wait hold it...HOLD IT...do you even know why he's blind by the way? not so many shows do not show many characters with handicaps like to be blind. But those who add people with handicap must the person who makes them make them either 2 things... 1. happy character 2. a damn depressed character. But Smtry go little more above that. He's a fact nr 3. Happy but have a depressed story.
So....is he...or is he a character ALIKE those you just pointed out he would be ...uhhh....soul eater soul? .....no?
speaking of metal or change to a weapon...where did soul eater get that from? why don't you check anime/manga before soul eater, write it down..and walla...you got it..where? ....well lemme say this, if you find animes/manga which have myths in it...you will get it. There are so called 'creatures' that could be weapons too...so tadaa? So do not come and say Smtry is soul water...Mmkaaay? or other shows..because ALL are almost the same!

yess! thats so true!!.....i mean....it exist more than just soul eater. i DO love soul eater and i had a crossover with smtry and sou eater for a year ago.. people need to move on. its already hard. and its like to say ALL those super heror ARE and will always be SUPERMAN! even spiderman!...and even the powerpuffgirls! they all are superman!... and those girl shows?? like weddingpeace, doremii and much much more with all those who transforming into new outfits and shit....is ALL those sailormoon then????....

I can atleast understand why. Both fight demons by turning their limbs to blades (heck, Soul has turned only his arm to a blade), buuuuuuuuuuuuuut that's the only other things similar. I can sorta also see were people are coming from with the crona and ragnorok thing, but its to big of a stretch.

well... smtry don't only fight with demons. he just hold "bad things" away from the real world. and close dark portals and hide things for humans. and soul don'treally use his arm. he needs a meister. smtry CAN'T turn into a "weapon"!
and it exist more animes/mangas there they can transforming into weapons(like souleater) or just like smtry have weapons inside there body/blood/meet you name it.
and i don't think crona and ragnarok is simular to smtry and corp. i would MORE think they were simular to link and navi instead or something from the zelda game..(Navi is Links helper)

Yeah, I know, I'm just saying that's what some people may think at first glance.
I noticed how he was kind of like Navi and I love it XD.
I'm no professional, heck I haven't even went very public about my (hopefully) one day comic's plot or characters, but I have noticed things as my 13 years as a artist. People compare things, especially when it comes to comics, manga, and anime. Just ignore them and show them that your work isn't something to be compared to something else
