Soon Iris became unsteady as her leg became soft. Lily soon caught her before she collapsed. "Thank you." She said gratefully as she pulled at Lily's string."Oh don't mention it, everyone goes still after the big change happens. But don't worry, it's quite relaxing and you should be back on your feet in no time."
Iris snorted. "Trust me, being able to just lay back and do nothing sounds like heaven."
Lily began to set Iris down into an armchair and gave her cord another pull. "It won't, especially since you now have a lovely Dolly of you own to keep you company."
"Same to you..." Iris said as her voice faded. Lily knew that her old vocal cords were being replaced by a voicebox and pullstring. Iris thought about being together with Lily in this Dollhouse, she'd belong to her and vice versa. It made her feel warm inside and forced a smile to her face, a smile the would soon felt close shut, becoming just another minor cosmetic feature on her face which rapidly turned to satin. She closed her eyes, enjoying the transformation, only to have them open up again wide and plastic as she saw Lily, Her Dolly now and forever holding her hand. A purple cloth flower that was her namesake bloomed on her head between her cloth hair and her yarn ponytail, completing the change.
Iris the Doll had made her choice. There was not a trace of doubt in her mind that it had been the right one.
