Description
This is a Rindhalu, a member an of an ancient species that was the first sapient species after the long departed Elders to reach space and expand into the galaxy. Naturally cautious, methodical and phlegmatic the Rindhalu developed their civilization quietly before making contact with the Maxholhx, which the uplifted and aided in their development. Unfortunately the Maxholhx were by nature more militaristic and believed that they were the true masters of the galaxy and secretly built up an empire and a supply of salvaged Elder weapons. These were used in a devastating offensive which cost the Rindhalu much of their territory, including their homeworld. The Rindhalu retaliated, devestating several Maxholhx star systems in a war which was only concluded when the Sentinels (ancient automated Elder warships) awoke and retaliated against both sides. This ended the world ending phase of the conflict and instead started long cold war between these two senior species mostly fought by their vassalized client races such as the Jeraptha and the Thuranin .
