I think you mean gas-operated, not blowback. A full-power rifle cartridge would tear any blowback gun apart, and the weapon clearly has a gas tube under the barrel. The ZB-26 pattern (notable for birthing the Bren, which is what you seem to be inspired by) was gas-operated.
