Description
I'd like to first say that this chart represents the general maximum height of a caeli in each age bracket, and shorter caeli do exist. I also added other creatures/things for scale.
THIS REFERENCE IS FOR "NORMAL" CAELI AND NOT QUEEN CAELI, which have different lifespans.
Eggs are quite smooth, large and vary in colour quite dramatically. They take a long time to hatch (around half a caeli year) and are carried around by the parents with their second set of arms, making it very obvious when someone has an egg or two. If parents have two eggs they typically share the burden of carrying.
Newborn Hatchling
At this age they are clumsy; their wings haven't developed yet and can not be used. They have no horns and their fur has not grown yet. They need constant care from their parents and would not survive on their own. They drink milk from the mother and require a lot of warmth in cold weather as they have little fur. At this age, they can only make small doot sounds or other noises and are not capable of speech.Child (15 - 35 years)
Only 'love-egg' store bought baby caeli can be within this general age range canonically. MYOs must have an adult form to be approved and are treated as adults in group systems.
The Horns start to grow in and their wings start to become fuller, they are able to glide and do small jumps up with their wings. They begin to grow small patches of hair where their future hair will grow. They have more control over their body and begin to learn more about the world they live in. They are more social at this age and begin to stray from their parents, and by the end of childhood have a good range of vocabulary and are able to speak well.Adult (35 - 100 years)
Teenagers, though they don't subscribe by the term, would fit into the age bracket of 34-40 years old. Once they have reached adulthood, horns have fully grown out (if they have horns) and their wings are completely developed and are capable of flight. Their fur has fully grown out and they are at peak fitness. Now they are fully grown and mostly start searching for a mate to create a family.
Elder
Adult caelis may be aged up to reach elder/ancient status if the caeli was not already sold as an elder/ancient. (More info here: Caeli Aging-Up Prompt! )
100- 150 Older adulthood starts from 100 and ends around 140 maximum 150, from 100 onwards, it is difficult but not impossible for them to lay fertile eggs, and greying is visible on the coat. It is relatively difficult for a Caeli to reach this age, due to food, illness, and environmental dangers. As an elder, a Caeli has reached the end point of adulthood and are now not as energetic as they used to be, though they are increasingly powerful as their size and muscle strength has increased following the cessation of egg-laying and other reproductive systems. Males typically do not live as long as female caeli, even accounting for maternal mortality and lost energy due to reproduction. Elders retain their status within life as well as receiving esteem from their large and domineering size.
Ancient (150 - Death)
As an ancient (150+), a Caeli is at the end of its' life, and starts to show physical signs of this. Caeli without the queen mutation will not live past the age of 200, and very rarely the oldest caeli may be 230 years old. Their hair loses its' usual shine, and any long horns start to warp and curl because they never stop growing (albeit slowly). The wings become more weak and it is harder for them to expand their wings to fly. They become thinner and their body becomes less muscular. Their tail droops and drag if long enough.
Queens:
It is not unusual for caeli with the queen mutation to survive for 300 years or longer, though breeding typically ceases by 200 years of age. Queens are known to be prolific with offspring.

(I put semi-closed because I want to control which and how people make them)
If you're interested
Aaand if you make a new group you're the alpha : D

But I have to update the sheet and make the trait sheet separately, lol
But everything is recognisable soooo... yeah!
