Description
Another collaboration with opal-tea , and this time it's Peridot. I decided to draw Peridot because, as a fellow INTJ, she's a character I can readily identify with. I partially based her appearance Shelby Rabara, the character's voice actress. If anyone would like to see more Steven Universe fan art, I drew a picture of Sugilite a while back and wouldn't mind attempting to draw Lapis Lazuli , Malachite or Pearl. Or maybe Yellow Diamond. Well they are all good characters, so why not just do them all? Although, wouldn't Yellow Diamond be kind of tricky since her only appearance would be as a silhouette?
If you could do Opal at sometime then that would be good too. I think all the fusions are awesome, but I kind of developed a fondness for Opal.

Thanks. I'd have to wait a while before attempting Yellow Diamond, to get a better idea of her design, but I feel like I'm going to like the character. Lapis Lazuli is another huge favorite of mine and I like Pearl too, even though she is kinda mean to people sometimes. I also like monstrous characters like Sugilite and Malachite, and Garnet is really cool as well. I basically like all of the gems, except for Rose Quartz and Rainbow Quartz. I just think Rose Quartz is overrated and Rainbow Quartz kinda creeps me out. Opal might be a bit challenging, but I might try drawing her at some point.

Er...I agree with you about Rainbow quartz...she looks plain weird. I think they could had done better with the fusion...but fanart tends to make those who look weird into...somewhat less weird.

Oh, could you guys sometime do Garnet and Amethyst as Steven? I loved them when they were playing Steven tag (especially when Garnet says 'Garnet wins')

I think she'd do a better job at drawing Steven. I'm waiting for her to finish coloring a picture of Batman I drew and I have a couple of other pictures sitting in my drawer that need to be finished. She was drawing a picture of Steven as a burrito a while back, but I don't know what happened to it. I really can't wait to see her finish the picture of Hai she's working on. It directly adapts a scene from one of the books.

Steven as a burrito? I hope she does a sketch dump soon, I look looking at it and trying to identify what each set is from...she also mentioned she might try to draw Keyi (from the books)...I am still adjusting Celi's design (more because I want to find that perfect balance), but a redheaded Keyi sounded awesome.

Peridot is...interesting. At first I thought she was very rude, but she was funny while Stevonnie was fighting Jasper.

To me it isn't her eyes...she just looks...well she seems to be not as dignified as the other gems. She seems more human like and...well she's weird.

They're all human-like, except for the ones that are basically monsters. Rainbow Quartz looks like she's about to go to gym and dance to some 80s music. I think her eyes are creepy because they're so different. The top eyes appear to be full of life and confidence, but bottom ones look dead and tired. It wouldn't be so bad if they looked more similar. It probably wouldn't even be bad at all.

I always thought that Lapis was pretty, although I do like Ruby (birth month XD) and Sapphire. Pearl can be kind of uptight (like the Shm'Ahnmik XD), but I think she does have a good heart. She just tends to be a little...well somewhat bossy. But she is also funny (like the lobster scene).
Garnet is one cool character 
What do you think of the Garnet and Pearl Fusion? A lot of people have drawn her and she seems pretty when they do it...but she sounds even more uptight than Pearl is on her own.
I think Rose Quartz is pretty, but...I do wish they wouldn't be so...evasive of her. You only really learn bits and pieces of her and never get the full story.
I just hope Amethyst will be able to feel good about herself.

Sardonyx is awesome! But it's really bad that Pearl would deceive everyone like that just to fuse with Garnet.
