Description
Today i present to you a new ship done by the extremely talented Pyrrhis.

The Avenger class Heavy Assault Carrier is based of the Armageddon Warcruiser design. Originally 12 warcruisers existed, but a daring raid into Hegemony space for unfinished warcruiser hulls meant that the Imperial Empire now had quick access to partiality completed ships that can be adjusted into new types quicker than building some from scratch.

While the warcruiser remained a pure heavy warship for slug fests, the Avenger class was the multi role ship the Empire desperately needed.

Capable of carrying up to 400 fighters made this ship a threat to be feared. However due to logical reasons it rarely carried over 200 fighters at any time. This combined with its advanced hyperspace core meant it was an excellent rapid strike vessel.
Fighters are neither a maximum of 60 bombers and 140 light and medium strike craft or 200 to 400 drone fighters.

Armament consists of two anti capital ship missile batteries, various anti strike craft missile points, a multitude of point defence/light cannons and quad medium cannons.

Here depicted is the Vigilance, escorted by some Arrow class light strike craft.
