Once again Hailfire191 brings a piece to life! This time it's the Bulwark class Destroyer.

The Bulwark was the primary offensive ship used by the Old Empire before the Great Schism. After the split into the Imperial Empire and the Calderian Empire, at least a third of these ships defected to the Imperial side. And more are silently moving to the Imperial side as the Calderians oppress their people with an iron fist.

A Bulwark is typically armed with a main Rail weapon. For its size this weapon uses a massive amount of energy produced by the ship core. This caused an unwanted drain on shield capacity. Due to this defect, a large torpedo compliment was added as an upgrade.

Secondary weapons are additional rail cannons, kinetic she'll cannons and anti air systems.

A compact but effective ship that can be called a practical design. While not unpleasant to look at, it is in contrast to a Fortress Battlecruiser who's design is based on old Earth ships.
