Personality: Decipher is a cunning, eccentric, and psychopathic Sphinx who finds most things way too amusing. He's outrageous and outlandish, as well as a quick talker and thinker. Though he may come across as simply annoying, he shouldn't be underestimated, however. Decipher can be a bit sadistic at times as well, enjoying watching other Imps slip up on simple tasks, and even making younger Warren members feel extremely uncomfortable by often threatening to set them on fire. He can't be that evil, though, right?

He does enjoy gnawing on his handler's shoes, however, and is often found sitting on the couch in front of the TV watching cartoons along with Plasm and his handler, Spow. He prefers being around warmth, thus his handler often lighting a fire in the fireplace for him. Around humans he's a brutish goof, not understanding them much. He sees them as walking chew toys and often snaps at their ankles. He's much different around other Imps because of his ability to actually communicate with them, and thus showing his true personality to them.

Decipher can quickly sway the most stubborn Imps with his persuasive tone and swift thinking. He strives to be the most intelligent in the Ancient Warren and is often found speaking riddles and codes to himself when alone. He's extremely quick to fury and when he's at his limit he's known to attempt to subdue the offender quickly -- either via violence or slick words.

He's not all that bad, though. Sometimes he can be found quietly sitting deep in thought seemingly in regret of something. Maybe chewing apart his handler's socks? Biting that stupid baby's arm? Stepping on one of the kits in the Warren? It seems much deeper than that. Maybe something happened long before. His only friend is really Spow, his handler, and he says that's good enough, but he seems to regret being such a loud and evil Sphinx sometimes. Most of the Warren is unsettled by his presence. As a matter of fact, he almost seems lonely sometimes. Decipher says he's always happy with his doings, but he's a liar in the end. Guilt eats at the heart and head faster than this Sphinx can find a way to counter it.

He has a mellow spot for other Sphinxes -- maybe it's because they're of his subspecies, or maybe it's because he secretly looks up to them.

When asked his opinion of relationships he often is heard rambling and screaming, often reciting this quote:
"LOVE IS YOUR SICK RAW BIOLOGICAL URGE TO REPRODUCE. TRYING TO DRESS UP IN A SUIT AND CHARM ITS WAY THROUGH THE OPERA! DON'T BE FOOLED BY THOSE FANCY LINENS! THE IMPOSTER ONLY WANTS TO TIE YOU DOWN AND DRAG YOU INTO THE GRAVE!"
