i have a lot of goals this year!

i got my first sketchbook recently (i really hated drawing with pen/pencil before bc it felt so unfamiliar) so i have been practicing more figure drawing bc i reallyreally want to improve in that area. drawing can be so frustrating when it takes forever to figure out how to draw a single pose >:0
i also have been doing some hand studies in my sketchbook and one of my goals is to not avoid drawing hands which i usually do!
and i want to spend more time on lining which is something i haven't done in a long time (i usually paint over my sketches and the lines become a sort of after thought -- it's a totally different process to draw lines that you actually plan to keep)
and of course i want to draw much more and be more active here and on tumblr

ANYWAY
i hope everyone is having a nice 2016 so far!!! B)
