The fact that you have the patience to work through so much small crosshatching linework has me in utter awe. I personally have NO patience whatsoever for the repetitive pattern work required to pull off crosshatching, so seeing it so well done with a favorite character of mine just makes this piece that much more amazing in my eyes.

So, thank you for so warm reply to my work, and I'm really glad my arts make people a little bit happy. And this crosshatching and a lot of details are some kind of meditation.

I feel you there. I tend to get very in depth with figuring out lineweights and things when I do handlettering, though I've yet to figure out how I want to apply that practice to my artwork...
But yeah, the little details and such can be so therapeutic to work through. But then I get impatient when I want to clean t all up... :/
