Sooooo.... I did a thing. I was bored, and have been looking at Percy Jackson and co. head canons on the Pinterest *couchcoughSolangelocough* and saw a bunch of ones that have to do with Apollo, since his series' third book comes out next year. This got me thinking, and then I saw a few things about gods and goddesses floating around Deviant art. Which lead to this.

The one on the left is Artemis, Goddess of the hunt, the moon, wild animals, wilderness, childbirth, and virginity. I feel like she would be a leather wearing type, so I gave her a leather jacket with fur (fake, of course). The flower on her collar is the cypress, which is her flower symbol. The pendent on her belt is meant to represent the moon.

(Also, They're the God and Goddess of Archery.)

The one on the right is Apollo, God of music, the sun, truth, prophecy, healing, light, plague, poetry, etc. (He's sort of the God that was given a ton of powers when others fade out of myth.). I feel like he would be be the guy always at the beach, sunbathing. The guy that leads the bonfire in song, and so on, so I gave him a pair of swim trunks, and a instrument. His tattoo is a mix of flowers, and laurel leaves, the latter are the leaves of his tree symbol. The flower in his hair is a hyacinth, which is his flower symbol. The pendant on his bracelet is meant to represent the sun.

I'm happy with how they look, and they're heavily inspired by the writings of Rick Riordan and fan art for his multiple series.
