Yet another line art I've colored! I'm starting to worry I'm doing to many >.> This time the awesome lineart was drawn by However, I was impatient and colored the sketch. I should have wait for the actual lineart.
(my punishment for being impatient XD) Here's the lineart [link] and here's the sketch [link] Me and ~RedShinigami99 were talking about maple leaves, so I decided to draw them.
An autumn scene, it looks so cool! lol I love red leaves, I really do. 
But I tried to give these more of an orange color. Actually, I was tring to work with just orange and blue, but all the orange took a red look when I scanned it O.o Darn it! 
And once again, my clouds lack shading
I really like it though, and I look forward to hanging it on my bedroom wall.

More orange. Blue and orange complamint each, so I wanted to do a picture with them as the main colors. The red showed up too much though >.>

Yeah they really were XD We had a puffin as a school mascot (gah...I liked the other scholl mascot...of the falcons better, but the colors werent as nice though)
Hmm...well on the sky was the fading color intentional? (i'm assuming it was because its looks wonderful)
Ah, some of the shading in some places looks iffy/not dark enough, like there appears to be no shading on the blue part of her outfit. And there seems to be little shading of her hair (usually your highlights are very distinct and easy to see, however in this one I don't see much of it/shadows)
Let me know if I ever am too harsh 0-o I can do that sometimes

Yes, the fading in the sky was intentional. 
I see what you mean on the shading for her shirt. I had a problem there in the fact that I colored the sketch, and she had the shirt and hairband shaded in pencil. So... my coloring didn't show up well XD (it's my own inpatient fault
I really do think the paper has something to do well how the colors show. With my sketch paper, I've never had trouble like this. Yet with the printing paper, there's always something that fades or something that shouldn't. 
(or I just didn't make the shading strong enough :facepalm

Not really but having all of the people in the school maing puffin puns, and having nothing but puffins pasted all around the school starts to make you dislike your school mascot ~_~
But now we have Black Bears, and next year and until I graduate the school mascot will be wolves! I

Oh! Wolves are cool! I got a couple posters in my room of them, and some post cards. I even have an image of one pressed onto a penny at the zoo

Aren't wasps the really scary things with HUGE stingers 0-o I find dead ones in our dog water outside, and they freak me out

I love writing....but keeps things up with the same characters and background and setting is a little harder for me

....yeah wasps are freaky 0-o Jasmine (one of my friends) brought a wasp to school in a case, and was scaring everyone with it 0-o It didn't bother me....until she started to open the case :scared:
XD Yeah..its funny to watch people and then internally you yourself is freaking out when its their finger at risk, and they act like they could care less ;3
Have you tried Scrubbing Bubbles? My mother always attacks them with a can of scrubbing bubbles and that kills 'em after a bit X3 But no flyswatter kinda sucks 0-o

But that's what's great about one-shots though, It helps you practice at completeing a story. The way I saw it was; if I couldn't write and finish a one chapter story, then how could I possibly write and finish a multi-chapter one?
