Yes it is, and you'll need to download a few things from the workshop, and sometimes install models outright. It still has a few features from previous gmod versions.

No, but those are tools that can be found in the workshop, particularly you should look up "resizer", "shrink ray" and stuff like that.

k well im having trouble with the steam workshop atm lol i cant use the search it ends up saying nothing is there... i cant even check the filters since it does the same thing

Yeah, that's an annoying glitch, I usually press backspace, and then refresh the page. Another annoying glitch is you can't subscribe and add stuff sometimes until you log out and log back in. I call it "Hard Refreshing."

Also I assume like any other model manipulating program, ( I'm guessing because I have 2) gmod is sometimes prone to random crashes, so save your progress or work often if you need to, but I usually am just messing around with the physics engine.

If there isn't a rulebook on gmod, I'd like to announce the first rule: Have fun!
