My latest steam punk figure was inspired by a mix of images I'd seen of hooded and masked warriors/guards. The mask/helmet & powerpack are made up of bits of plastic I've collected and I'm really pleased with the end result. The idea for the staff came from a recent BPRD graphic novel (The Witchfinder) which had figures with electic prods fighting a demon. This also gave me chance to use some bits of cable on the staff which I think finishes the look off nicely.If you want to see the work in progress check out my blog:

I didn't realize at first glance that this was a smaller piece. I thought it was someone in a helmet. I love the concept and the execution. It gives me an idea for future helmets I will try my hand at. They will of course be different. I really like the tubing coming out of the helmet it has a sort of intenstine like feel to it or it reminds me of some kind of insect probosbis. Great stuff!

i love the visuals in 9 and must admit it is an influence, especially for big goggle eyes!
