My cosplay of Jade Curtiss from Tales of the Abyss, at San Francisco's Cherry Blossom Festival, 2009. (About 95% done, as a trial run for Fanime.)Photo & Postprocessing by one of my Peonys (I had two)

First off love this cosplay. You're very good. Clean and perfected. I can tell you enjoy it. ^^
Now...how did you go about making those boots??? I'm having the darnedest time trying to find the best way of going about it. Please and thank you.

They're bootcovers over heeled shoes made out of slightly stretchy fabric. Elastics over the sole and under the heel, zippers up the backs of the thighs. I used preexisting covers for a pattern, but it was pretty straightforward. I added the gold edging on afterwards, and took everything in until it fit snugly.

Quick question, if you don't mind, where did you happen to find the wig? I've been looking for that color everywhere. Jade has the most obnoxious hair color, yet yours looks magnificent.

Gahhhh, this one was a present, so I wasn't the actual one who ordered it, sadly. It was from either cosworxs or Amphigory.com, and one of the light brown/ auburny colors?
Sorry I can't be of more help, we sort of looked over the thumbnails, I picked it out, and that was all I had to do with it.

I trimmed the wig and made a few small adjustments, but it's basically the same costume. Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
