I can't tell you how much fun I had painting this. Everything about it came together like pieces falling into place. It took a long time and so much patience, but I'm really proud of it. Also, first painting as Rachel Bradley. ^________^

The story behind it was that a young man fell in love with an angel, turned his back on the long and fruitful life intended for him and died trying to win the angel's heart. Or something like that. :3
