UPDATE: Here's the finished painting. I have to admit, I saw this scene pretty early, but it was still pretty fun to paint.For some reason, a wizard with is fairy reading a burning book in the sewers just made sense. And who doesn't like a good copse-digesting slime monster once in a while.
The colors had a lot of contrast in this one, and it was fun trying to maintain that without dulling out things to compensate too much. I'm sure this is a lot more intense for those of you that see color properly. But sometimes it's nice to do something with a blast of color. I hope I can do another one of these soon.

It's that time again everyone! I'm going to turn this patch of blobs into a painting! (It's been too long!)

Right. I'm going to guess the wizard is a fairly bad guy (but not THAT bad) and the slime monstrosity is his loyal servant.

Looks like a green guy with a red shoulderpad staring intently to the left. behind him is his blue friend with a bright white eye, also looking to the left.

could be lava flowing downhill next to a cave, with Nights (that Sega character) awkwardly placed in the front.

Being burned alive by lava might not be best described by "awkward." Though in retrospect, it might be.
