Alice the madness returns is a creative and insane game, full of crazy characters, amazing plot, and beautiful art style.
In this game, you take on the role of Alice Liddle, exploring the topsy-turvy world of Wonderland/Underland. This new and improved game is a follow on the original - American Magee's, Alice, and in my opinion and many others, is a fantastic sequel to an originally amazing game. With a wide range of characters, both good and bad, this spin off leaves little to be desired. The mob AI is amazingly designed and pursued, making the gameplay challenging, but not impossible, meaning that the majority of the game, while plot thick in content, is still fun for the player. The plot itself is consistent and loyal to the original book/film, including other spin off films, such as Tim Burtons version, that starred Johnny Depp.
The weapons are designed amazingly, with different perks and upgrades, much like with the different outfits available throughout the game, including the unlockable ones as well. In every level there is unlockable content, amazing voice acting, and fantastic design work on characters, costumes, and enemies.
Each area has a different and beautiful art style, showing off different styles, from steampunk, to underwater, from waterfalls, to lava lakes. Each area has individually designed mobs, costumes and enemies, and involves a scrawling landscape, and takes an amazing spin to original plat former games.
Each character is complete with unique costumes and design work, and voices and characteristics are done perfectly to fit said characters.
All in all, Alice the madness returns is an amazing game, well worth the experience, with fulfilling content and amazing bonuses! I recommend it to anyone who's looking for a new game to play.
