Xephos sat up. Damn it, he had fallen asleep again when it was his turn to stay awake. Ridge turned to look at him, a small friendly smirk across his lips.
"Morning. Sleep well?" he joked and Xephos grumled back something about sleeping at a wierd angle and his neck being sore. He then leaned over and woke the other two up while rubbing his sore neck.

"Morning Sipsy" Sjin said grogily as he stretched. He then looked up and saw an annoyed Xephos infront of him. "Ah, I mean..."
The spaceman just shook his head and told him to go hunt some rabbits.

"Strange..." he stated as he sat looking at the sky over the trees. The reaper raised an eyebrow at him
"What?" the endermage asked.
"..." he continued looking over the trees to see if he was right. He thought he saw a trail of smoke rising from far away. "Nothing, just some birds."

It had been a few weeks since Xephos had questioned his own leadership, and while he still didn't agree with his friends decisions, he was glad they had faith in him.
Over the past few weeks, Ridge had grown a patch of stubble over his usualy baby clean face. Rythian had started taking off his mask more and also had some stouble growing. Himself and Sjin already had beards, so didn't really have to worry. His hadn't grown alot really, but Sjin's sideburns had extended rather noticably and his mustach was begining to spread more over his face.

"So, who did the chopping and digging yesterday?" the spaceman asked as Sjin brought a few rabbits back to the camp. "That was me." the architect answered.
"Who explored?"
"Me." Rythian ran his hand through the air casualy.
"You worked on making some new weapons and stuff, and I cooked." the reaper stated.

"Ovcourse, sorry guess i'm just a little tired. So, new jobs, Sjin you cook today, Rythian you're on wood duty, Ridge we need to make some kind of armour, we've managed to survive so far, but with that close call yesterday I don't want to take any chances." they all nodded and got to work.

He was mining some rocks for some more gold, The more he used the more he could research at the science machine. His pick shattered into small shards as it impacted with the rock, only cracking it slightly. He sighed "Great now i'll have to go back to base..." he looked around "Hmm... I think it was that wa-"

As he spoke he felt someone run into the back of him. "Toby?!" the spaceman yelled shocked as he turned around and saw the smaller, jumper wearing boy. "What are you doing here?!"
"No time to explain!" Toby answered, he attempted to push the spaceman, who began running and pulling Toby along himself when he saw a rather large bird creature running towards them.

"Hmm, Xephos has been gone longer than usual." Rythian stated.
"Well he did twist his ankle the other day." the reaper answered, who was taking a break and playing cards with Sjin.
"No it's something differant... I can feel it. We should look for him."
"Rythian?! Where are you going?" Sjin asked as Rythian began walking through the trees. They both stood up and followed the endermage.

They finally stopped running after loosing the bird in the wilderness somewhere. They both placed thier hands on thier legs and stood panting for a moment. They appeared to be at a camp, presumably Toby's and probably the smoke he had seen this morning.
"Why are you here?" Xephos asked through gasps of breath, true he did get alot of exercise in this place, with all the running away from birds and everything, but man that bird was fast!
"Kinda wanna ask you the same thing." The kid answered.
"So does that mean that Martyn's here aswell?"
They both stood up streight having caught thier breath.
"No, he's not with us."
"With us? Who else is here?!"
As he asked, two arms grabbed him from behind, and they were strong, he turned and did the only thing he thought logical, he whacked the attacker round the face.
"Ah!" the dwarf yelled, putting his hand to his head.
"Honeydew?!" ovcourse, the dwarfs hugs were always very strong... Shit.

"You alright?" the dwarf asked casualy. Behind him were two other people, Panda and Parv. Without another second the spaceman had his lanky arms wrapped tightly around his dwarven friend.
"There, there mate." Honeydew patted him on the back as he hugged him back.

Xephos faught with himself not to do it, but it couldn't be stopped. He began quiety sobbing into his friends shoulder. "It's ok Xeph, it's all gonna be fine now." the dwarf continued patting his crying friend on the back.

Twigs snapped from the trees and the endermage emerged, followed by Ridge and Sjin. "Aww." the reaper said and smiled at what he saw.
