Hey guys, so, you may have seen Kim and Hannah asking people and talking about their top games of the year. So here are mine!

5 ) Don't starve.

I loved this game, its different to most of the games out there, it's creative and actually I've been writing a foxy game review about it. I just love the art style and the little jingles when different things happen. I'm a big fan of music when it comes to video games, so this was really good for me. The pot never really gets explained that much, but its extremely fun to play and isn't one of them games where you get bored after a few times of returning to a save. There's a lot to explore and a lot to do! With that said ill leave the rest to the review.

4 ) Remember me.

This game was awesome, and the plot was creative and actually, different for once. I know that the company funding the game actually rejected the idea of having the main character as a female and wanted to change it to male! Typical. But no, the creators of this game wanted the main character to be a women, and good for them. Remember me just wouldn't be the same if it were a male character.
You start off as a young women who's job is to restore peoples memories, or edit them. But when your own memories are whipped by an all powerful company, it's up to you to restore your memories with the help of a strange man on your phone. This game introduces unique ways of fighting, and new enemies, form amazing mechs, to sewer zombie people... this game is truly fantastic! I recommend playing it, especially to those who are interested in mystery type games with a lot of action and violence.

3 ) Beyond: two souls.

This game is truly imaginative and just basically epic!
We start off as a young girl, who since she was born has been connected to a spirit. Her carer works for a paranormal activity agency. When she begins to try and remember her past, she flees as a fugitive. We go through romantic relationships, battles, and some freaky shit. With amazing graphics and great characters, this game is just fantastic! Worth playing through.

2) The last of us.

This brilliant game introduces new twists to usual zombie games, and fantastically written characters along with it!
We join a man who's daughter was killed in the first outbreak of the oncoming zombie apocalypse. twenty years later we find ourselves looking after another young girl, under the false mission set by the 'fireflies'. This new girl, Ellie, must be taken to a place where they can create a cure from her DNA when they find that she has been bitten, but has not been effected. With a lot of violence and gore (I like that sort of thing) this game ticks all the boxes of being an original and truly brilliant zombie survival game!

1) Tomb raider.

Yes, that's right, tomb raider is my top game of 2013. Is it any surprise? For most people the game wasn't all they expected it to be, but why should it be like the originals? This was before Lara became the tomb raider, so not a lot of tombs involved. By the end (and a lot as the game goes on) Lara is pretty badass! Using a bow and arrows, to a machine gun, this girl can really kick ass, and do a bit of parkour while she's at it. We start off when Lara's boat has crashed on a desert island in a storm. Throughout the game we learn more about the sun goddess/queen that the tribal people of the island worshiped, and how soldiers and other people visiting saw it through different hidden objects and collectibles in the game. Being one to search for collectables and liking to complete the games fully, I for one loved all the little stories and scripts that you can find on the island. The AI is amazing in terms of the creatures and enemies, and adding quick actions makes it even better. Even though I don't usually like button mashing games (well... I do like to spam things a lot) this game really delivered in terms of fast time events, storyline, graphics, controls and everything else! Truly amazing, and truly my game of the year for 2013.

Hmm, I would replace tomb raider with ACIV personally.
