"Lalna?" the spaceman called as he walked through the big wooden gates of Duncan's dinosaur park, where was the scientist? This was the last place Xephos could think of to check, it took him a whole day to walk there. "Lalna better have some explaining to do." he grumbled to himself as he continued walking. At first, no-one knew about the large dinosaur park, until a slight problem arose with the land used for Yoglabs, and caused the secret to be revealed. Lalna asked Ridge to delete everyone's memories if they didn't have something to do with yoglabs, the reaper had agreed and had erased all but Xephos, Honeydew's, Teep's and his own memory.
"Lalna!" the spaceman shouted again, coughing afterwards. If he had known there would be three deserts on the way there he would have brought some water. He walked down the path that cut through different enclosures and lead up to Lalna's little bunker.
"Lalna!" he took off his burgundy jacket and placed it over his shoulder. "Having to walk all the way down here in this heat..." he continued to grumble at the dinosaurs he passed, some of which eyed him up and he swore he saw one lick its big mouth. Other bigger ones didn't seem too interested, he wasn't the stockiest man ever, and couldn't provide much meat for them.
He swallowed and continued walking down the path.
"Lalna! Where are you?!" he yelled as he came to the clearing of the large jungle trees that had created a canopy above him. The sticky air turned into blazon sunlight that he had to shield his eyes from as he continued walking. He saw heat waves raising from the tarmac floor and a strange whirring sound came from behind him.
"Dinosaurs don't make that noise..." he whispered and turned. He pushed himself forwards just in time to avoid being hit by a passing railcar. He regained his footing just in time to not fall into the small pool that sat in front of him. Who knew what kind of creatures his scientist friend kept in there.
"Grrr, Lalna!" he shouted as loud as he could even in the confines of the bunker the scientist would have heard him. When he got no response he folded his arms angrily and marched towards the bunk.
Walking through the door the first thing that caught his eye was the massive dinosaur skeleton that sat in the lobby area. He observed it, and it seemed to be every single bone belonging to a T-rex.
Finding the label he gulped guiltily.

"Oops." the spaceman said to himself before looking up and frowning at the large frame of the dinosaur. He didn't let it faze him too much as he heard clanking from another indistinctive room. He placed his jacket down next to the dinosaur and looked up at it one last time. He put his hands in his pockets and walked through the door to the far right of him, the first door to the left from where he had walked in.
"Lalna?" he asked as he stepped through. He appeared to be in some kind of large dinning area, he knew Lalna could eat but, this table was a bit big even for him!
He walked through and fount a small passage that lead down, he followed it and arrived in a small kitchen area. "Well, at least the plans Lalna drew me were correct." he spoke his thoughts as he walked around the stoves and into an over-cosy room that sat to the side of the stairs. He had asked his scientist friend to draw a basic layout for the complex including the different cages he kept the animals in, just for Yoglabs files. The dinosaur park was kept on their land after all, if Lalna wasn't a friend to him, he probably would have given the owner as long as they needed to clear up before bulldozing it down, it did cost him a lot of money for the deeds to that land after all.
He looked through some of the chests "Meat... Probably for the dinosaurs." there was cooked and raw meet, the first of which probably for the scientist himself, the vegetables were no doubt for the dinosaurs, seen as Lalna didn't do too well with his green's.
His stomach grumbled slightly as he looked down at the array of raw meets and vegetables... No, there wasn't time for that, and besides, what would Lalna think?
He closed the chest and walked back up the stairs and out into the room with the big sculpture and across to the other side. Nothing there.
And so he made his way into what he knew was the last room of the complex, the place where it all happened.

The outside of the room was packed with different machinery and technological feats of engineering, some of which he had helped Lalna build, thought he scientist wouldn't tell him why, just that they were an experiment. The walls had blueprints for things totally unrelated to dinosaurs or the park, probably inventions the scientist came up with while working. A large metal operating's table sat in the centre of the room, strewn with different coloured liquids in test tubes, Bunsen burners, a stethoscope, a microscope and a bounty of scalpels. He spotted a few of the scientists inventions laying around, probably what he had made in his spare time.
To the left of the room was a rather large drop. He walked over and lent over the edge, at the bottom sat a pool of water and what looked like some broken eggs and incubators. Well that couldn't be good.
As he leant over, his foot slipped off the edge and he tumbled down into the water below. It was warm and would have been relaxing... Had it not been for the tiny slanted eyes that now glared at him. He looked up slowly and very warily "...Nice dinosaur..." he said as he rose slowly to his feet. "Friendly dino... I'm just gonna..."
The creature flicked its long green tail back and forth and lowered its head in a calculating position. The spines stood up on its back and its talons clicked on the floor as it took a few slow and terrifying steps closer.
Its colouring was that of a salmon, bar its deep green tail, and it was bald and bloody. Must have been a mix up with something...
But Xephos didn't have time to think about that, he turned and ran for the ladder that was behind him. He heard a loud hiss as he grabbed the ladder and tried to pull himself up. The dinosaur tugged at his belt with its razor sharp teeth and yanked him off again.
"Oh not again..." Lalna's voice came form above. The spaceman looked up to see the scientist flick a switch, before he could shout up to his friend a sharp pain rank down his entire left arm and he turned his head to see the creature yanking and gnawing at his shoulder.
"AHHH!" he shouted and flailed helplessly as the creature shook his head and dug deeper into his shoulder, its needle like teeth ripping his flesh and muscle and reaching the bone.
"Wait... that doesn't sound like a dinosaur..." he heard his friend say. Before the spaceman could call for help, the water began pulling him towards a rather large pipe. This wasn't good...
He was pulled down through the pipe along with the strange dino-creature and landed in a massive vat of a warm and tingly cream coloured liquid.
As he watched the liquid began to boil, and turned a bright green colour. It hurt. Both him and the dinosaur yelped in pain and he heard a clanging sound behind him.

As he turned he spotted Lalna running towards him across a raised metal platform.
"Xeph?!" he shouted "Fucking hell!"
The spaceman could only watch as the scientist climbed down a ladder and made his way over to what looked like a control panel. Well, this place wasn't in the map. He squirmed as the liquid began to harden and crush his limbs. "Lalna!" he shouted as best he could as the strange substance crushed down on his lungs, causing his breathing to turn into a wheeze.
"Don't worry! I've got it!" was his reply, he watched as the dinosaur managed to claw its way free, it slipped over to him, like it was walking on ice. It shrieked in his face, covering him in smelly green spit. He scrunched his nose up as the dinosaur got even closer and closer until it was touching him.
Then, the strange solid that kept him in place changed back to a liquid in the blink of an eye. The dinosaur fell into it, clawing him as it did so.
"AHHH!" he yelled. The pool of liquid produced a single rink of purple from the centre that flashed out and was gone in milliseconds. He felt strange. He watched as a dark red beam hit the dinosaur, causing it to evaporate in front of him. Then, he felt Lalna pulling him out of the liquid, letting him lay down at the side and re-catch his breath.
"What... the fuck?!"
