Description
The spaceman knew that something was off. He wouldn't be there in that holding cell if it wasn't. He stepped quickly behind the door, dragging Sips with him and covering the dirt traders mouth as he went to retaliate or ask more questions.A man walked in, clad in a yellow suit, biohazard by the looks of it. He looked around before going over to the dead bodies, administering a large needle. The spaceman quickly and silently dragged Sips to the floor with him, still covering his mouth and motioning for him to be quiet. He then closed his eyes, hoping the dirt trader was doing the same.
A pang of pain rung down his neck and he refrained from groaning, he had always hated needles. A few moments later the door closed again and he opened his eyes.
"What the fuck..." Murmuring, he made his way to the door and watched Sips stand up. "We're getting out of here. Right now." The spaceman said, gripping the door handle and shaking it. Locked. Sighing, he nodded to the dirt trader and began pounding on the door at what he knew to be the weak spot, until it slid open and they both stepped forward.
"What the heck?!" The man in yellow asked, obviously confused. "What are you doing up?"
"What happened to us?" Sips plucked up the courage to ask. He didn't know why but being around the spaceman while he was acting this way made him somewhat terrified. Though he'd never admit it. "What's... Where the fuck are we?!" He continued.
He looked to Xephos as he took a commanding step forward. "What is your authorisation clearance." He demanded, sending a shiver down the dirt traders spine and from what he gathered the employee, all of which knew not to double cross him.
"I don't have one. I'm not Yoglabs staff." The man replied, somewhat scared but holding his ground fairly well. Still, he wasn't a military officer, so the spaceman was concidering his options instead of flat out killing him. Especially in front of Sips. "You're suffering withdrawals, you need your injections." The man continued. Helping the spaceman all to well in making up his mind. It would have been over in a split second, had Sips not interrupted.
"Injection?! What injection?! What have you done to us?!" The dirt trader asked, clearly freaked out.
"I have no time, or authorisation to explain. I must give you an injection." The man replied.
"No." The spaceman stated, simply, bluntly. Sips could see the rage building up inside his friend. He had seen his bats of rage before when his pills were short or late... But this was something different. It was a complete different side, a complete different person. The man threw a vile of yellow liquid at Sips, knocking him to one side before making his way towards Xephos, brandishing another vile.
In one swift motion the spaceman had lunged, gripping the man by the throat and punching his way through the mask, sending black glass into the man's face and eyes, before punching at the bottom of the jaw.
There was a sickening crack, a few whimpers... And then silence.
The dirt trader, shaking, managed to get himself up to his feet once again, looking between the spaceman and the unknown man. "Uh..." Was all he could think to say.
"I had to." The spaceman replied, not taking his eyes from the body. "Don't worry about it. Come on, let's find out what's going on with my facility."
Before the dirt trader had time to reply the spaceman was already walking off with a quick paced stride down the corridor.
They continued through to another corridor, near to the break room. A couple of men came towards them, dressed in black, brandishing guns.
The spaceman sighed, this would be a bit more challenging. He stopped at the corner, his back against the wall and pulled Sips back next to him. He looked around the corner at the men. "Stay here, I'll be done in a moment." He moved around the corner, leaving the confused dirt trader there.
Sips looked around the corridor and followed the spaceman. The two men spotted Xephos, lifting their guns up at him. The dirt trader ducked back behind the wall he had come from. "Jesus..." He whispered, peering back round at Xephos.
The spaceman stepped towards the men.
"What are you doing here?" One of the men asked. The spaceman slowly raised his hands, taking another slow step forward. "Stay where you are!"
The spaceman stepped forward once more.
"Sir, stay where you are! Or we will be authorised to shoot!" The other man yelled. And yet, the spaceman took another step towards them. "Sir!"
Within a couple of seconds it was done. The dirt trader had to think through what had just happened.
The men had shot, the spaceman had ran forwards towards them, throwing his hands to either side, knocking the bullets from the air and blood splattered across the ground. The spaceman had jumped, lunged towards the men. Half way through the air his veins had glowed with a bright blue lights, his skin had darkened at the fingertips and around the eyes and his fists had glown bright blue. The men had fired a few more times but they bounced off of the spaceman as he plummeted towards them, throwing two swift punched forwards when he landed.
Within a few seconds this had all happened, and the men's heads rolled across the floor as their bodies fell to the ground. The spaceman breathed heavily as the dirt trader came around the corner and walked towards him, the blue light that had been glowing once before began to dim and disappeared.
"Uh..." The dirt trader interrupted, his voice cracking.
The spaceman looked back at him over his shoulder, still breathing heavily as the black around his eyes went back to the usual half tired look.
"What... The fuck?!"

You can tell something's up when Xeph doesn't know what's going on.
