Description
The dirt trader opened his eyes and sat up. It was dark wherever he was, and the others were there as well. He scratched his head, not too sure as to what was going on.
"Hey Sjin wake up you big dumb dumb." He shook the architect awake and watched him sit up.
"Where are we Sipsy?" He asked, rubbing his eyes. "This isn't Sips_co..."
The dirt trader rolled his eyes at the man's dopeyness and looked around a bit more, standing up.
"We're not in our usual outfits..." The architect mumbled and the dirt trader looked down, noticing the same. "What's going on Sipsy?" The architect stood and walked shyly over behind him.
"Let's wake up the others and see what they remember... Last thing I remember is google-boy telling us all about the jumping thing..." The dirt trader answered, kneeling next to the scientist and shaking him awake. "Hey there goggles." He smirked down to the blonde as he looked up.
"Sips? W...where are we?" The scientist asked, looking around at the dark room. "I can barely see anything!" He sat up and rubbed his head beneath his goggles.
"This is a massive inconvenience..." A voice came from behind and they turned to see the reaper hanging from the ceiling upside down. "Someone mind giving me a hand before all the blood goes to my head?" He asked casually with his usual smirk plastered over his face.
"Can't you just pop down like usual?" Sjin asked, tilting his head round like a puppy.
"Fine." The reaper answered and there was a popping sound, the reaper reappeared behind the scientist, his arms folded. "Now, the question is where are we?"
"This better not be one of your tricks Lalna..." Another voice came from their right, and they turned to see the enderborn pushing himself from the floor, his purple eyes glowing slightly in anger.
"I didn't do this!" The scientist answered, standing up.
"Well if you didn't who did?" Another voice came. They turned and spotted the dwarf in the corner, shaking awake the still unconscious spaceman who was curled up. "Cuz it certainly wasn't us..."
"What's going on friend...?" The spaceman asked sleepily as he looked around. Finally the room was illuminated from the brightness of the spaceman eyes.
"We don't know." The dwarf answered, helping his friend to his feet. "Either way... It's not really nice..." They all looked around, in the middle of the room was a set of stairs, next to which was a sign. There was a door to the corner near where Rythian had woken up and the walls were lines with moss.
"This place creeps me out friends..." Xephos mumbled and shivered.
"It is cold down here." The reaper added, scanning the room. "Either way, what does everyone remember?"
He looked around at everyone, who all seemed fairly confused.
"All I remember is that we were on our way to goggle boys to check out a new invention." Sips said, leaning against the wall.
"So it was you." Rythian grumbled, glaring at the scientist.
"Nobodys saying that!" Lalna answered defensively.
"Actually..." The spaceman said. Everyone turned to look at him and he rubbed the back of his head. "Well... I remember everyone turning up to yours... Something about a jumper... Like a dimension jumper type thing. Something you and Ridge had tested with Kim at some point?" He said.
"Ah shit..." Lalna sighed.
"You wanna explain yourself?!" Rythian growled.
"I didn't do anything! I'd worked on a parallel universe type thing before and shown Xeph and Honeydew, there were some technical difficulties..." The scientist mumbled.
"Technical difficulties?! Xeph here almost died!" The dwarf said. His space friend shrugged slightly, awkward from not wanting to start an argument.
"He didn't..." The scientist answered. "Anyway, I'd been working on a new one ever since and I invited Ridge and Kim to try it out. It worked and we went on a bit of an adventure... And well, we ALL decided it would be a good idea to invite you guys to try it out." The scientist finished.
"Well... I guess if posh boy over here agreed that it was a good idea..." Sips stated. "So what went wrong?"
"Yeah why are we here...? Is this a parallel universe?" Sjin added.
"Well we're definitely not in our world..." Lalna mumbled, looking around. "So Kim said she was busy...? Who else was suppose to show up?" He asked. "I swear there was someone else...?"
"Fox girl." Ridge mumbled, brushing his hand through his aquamarine hair.
"Yeah where is she?" Honeydew asked. "Think she woke up early and went adventuring?" He asked the spaceman.
"I have no clue friend..." The alien looked around.
"Can anyone hear that?" The architect asked, sounding scared as a banging sound came from above.
"Is there gonna be a cave in?!" Sips added.
"Doesn't sound like it." Honeydew answered. Everyone looked to the stairs, and after a couple of silent seconds with nothing but the banging getting louder, the fox tailed girl fell from the stairs and rolled across the floor.
"Ow..." She sighed and stood up, dusting herself off. "Hey guys! What's going on? Weren't you just upstairs?" She asked, turning to the reaper.
"Um... No?" The reaper answered, looking around at everyone.
"What's up there?" Sips asked, walking over to the stairs that cut off a little after the ceiling. It was pitch black up the hole.
"It's like a really weird white room. Like marble and too clean. Hospital like. And Ridgedog was up there being a dick like usual." Exza stated casually folding her arms.
"Excuse me fox girl?" The reaper answered.
"Anyway he just said 'you're not supposed to be up here!' And then pushed me down, so... I guess he blocked off the way." She finished. "Hey what's through that door?" She asked, walking to the door with a curious look on her face.
"We don't know." Rythian mumbled.
They all looked around, Sips and Sjin attempted to help each other up the stairs, the dwarf was looking down at his outfit, the spaceman walked over to the sign and the other three attempted to stop Exza from opening the door. "We don't know what's through there Exza." The mage said. "Besides, it appears that the other Ridge was watching us from above... He might be testing us."
"I was never a fan of tests." The fox girl said and looked around. "So why are we here? I remember the teleporty thingy working and then we jumped through the portal, and ended up with posh boy catching us, and then everything went dark?"
"Wait, so we did jump correctly?" Lalna asked.
"Well yeah! But then something happened..." The fox girl looked at them. "What did you do to your hair?" She asked the reaper.
"Exza focus, do you remember anything else?" Lalna asked.
"No not really... That was about it. I guess that when everything went black we got knocked out and I guess I ended up there because I fell on the device you used to make us jump?" She asked him back.
"Oh... Shit! Where is it?" The scientist asked, frantically patting his pockets. "I-I don't have it! Do you have it Exza?"
"No? I guess it must be up there?" She pointed to the stairs as the architect fell from the dirt traders shoulders and Sips burst out laughing.
"We need to get up there." Lalna stated.
"How? It's sealed." Sjin answered, rubbing the bump on his head.
"We have to find a way!" The scientist answered, walking over.
"And once again we're stuck in a pickle due to the scientist and one of his crazy inventions." The enderborn mumbled.
"It's not my fault!" Lalna argued back.
"Guys I don't think we're getting out of here without going out that door..." The spaceman interrupted, looking down at the sign. "It says 'one does not simply leave the dungeon'." He read and looked around. "So I assume we have to go through..." He added.
"Seems like the only way." The reaper responded.
"Oh sure, so when I want to go through the door it's no! But when blue-eyes wants to do it!" Exza said sarcastically.
"That's a new one." The spaceman smiled and walked towards the door. They all made their way out into a corridor. It was thin, about enough space for one, maybe two of them to go through at a time.
It was dark, but the spaceman's eyes lit it up enough. "So we have no clue where we are...?" He asked and looked back at everyone.
"Nope." Honeydew answered from near the back, he was looking through his pack. "Hey guys I have a dagger and a ring... And the armour seems to be leather?" He said.
"Same here." Rythian answered from in front of him.
"Ooo shiney!" Exza called happily spotting her ring. "Mines a ring of... Shadows." She smiled from next to the spaceman.
"Ominous." The reaper answered from behind them, his arms folded.
"I don't like this Sipsy..." Sjin mumbled, they were stood in the middle of the group.
"Don't worry Sjinny boy, you dingaling, we're in the middle, so if anything attacks it's got three people each side to get through first." The dirt trader smirked.
"Not helping..." Sjin whispered, scared.
"Will you two stop bickering?" The reaper turned to look at them.
"My rings different?" The dwarf spoke.
"Mine too." The scientist added.
"I got accuracy." Sips said. "and arrows instead of a dagger!" He smirked. "Sweet."
"Detection." Xephos spoke.
"Evasion." Ridge added.
"Power. And I have a wand instead of a dagger..." Rythian said.
"Thorns." Sjin smiled.
"And I got elements." Honeydew finished. "Oh... That's cool! It says a class in the upper left of my pack! I'm a tank." He smirked.
"Warrior...?" Sjin asked.
"Ranger." Sips said, holding his arrows.
"Mage." Rythian said. "Why am I not surprised...?"
"Rogue bitches!" Exza grinned.
"Healer." Ridge said.
"Scout." Xephos added.
"And I got hunter..." Lalna finished. "Cool!"
"Still doesn't explain what were doing here..." Rythian answered.
"But at least we know what we can do." Honeydew spoke up. "See anything Xeph?" He called to the front of the group.
"A couple of doors..." The spaceman replied. "Where should we go?"
"That one." Ridge said and pointed to one of the doors.
"Alright..."
They made their way over to the door, not knowing what would be inside...
