Description
Ridgedog was the first to wake up, he felt strange. A shift in his person. In his physics. His DNA.He looked around, his vision slow and his ears ringing. The others were still there. He watched Honeydew sit up, putting a hand to his helmet. He heard a slight mumble, something along the lines of 'well that was weird'.
He shook his head a little, trying to get rid of the ringing.
"Everyone alright?" He managed to ask, his hearing returning to him.
"Yeah im good." Honeydew said, standing up. The spaceman also stood up at this point, and the reaper had as well.
He stretched, watching the spaceman walk over to the fox tailed girl, trying to shake her awake.
She was laying there, curled up. They walked over, helping her regain consciousness and helping her up.
"What happened...?" She asked quietly.
"We don't really know." Xephos answered, still holding her up in case she fell. "You ok...?" He asked. She nodded and he slowly let her stand on her own.
"Was that the crystal...?" She asked, not talking to anyone in particular but looking towards Ridge as she asked.
"Yes." He stated, looking down at the crystal, which now held no colour and looked like glass. It had shattered into tiny little shards of what it had been, the blue was a distant memory and the crystal was a boring see through. Like fake glass. He sighed. "Guess we should go rest. Fox girl looks like she's about to collapse." He stated, turning his and everyone else's attention to her.
"Oi watch it posh boy..." She answered, not as enthusiastic as she would normally be. She was clearly tired.
"Ridge is right. We all should rest." Xephos intersected, putting a hand to the bridge of his nose.
"I suddenly feel very drained..." Ridge said, wiping his eyes.
"Come on, back to the Jaffa factory." Honeydew said. "You too Mr dog." He nudged them all towards the Jaffa factory and inside. Xephos had given his own bed to Ridgedog, pushing over Lalna's bed as well when the reaper had complained about normally having a double bed. Honeydew had taken his own triple bed and the spaceman and Exza had decided to separate the bed in the penthouse and take one each.
They all felt exhausted. And none of them, even the ones who struggled to sleep, found it difficult to drift off.
------------
"Hmm... I was hoping it would work quicker than this. I'm slightly bored again now."
The green holograms show the different rooms as if from a security camera, scanning across the rooms and showing the four, asleep.
Boring indeed.
------------
Meanwhile, the home in the ground was no longer there, it had filled itself back in.
The little shards of the crystal laid there. And suddenly, one piece began to shake a little. Then a couple more did. And then, they sat still once more.
------------
Exza felt warmer. She didn't know why, but then as she began to awake, she felt crowded.
Upon opening her eyes, she noticed the spaceman, laying next to her. She yelled, and he yelled, and fell off the bed. But before there could be a thump on the floor, the spaceman appeared across the other side of the room, in the corner, panting to himself and holding his chest.
"I... Am so sorry! I don't know how that happened..." He began to bluster. Exza stared at him, noticing the massive distance between her bed and the corner he was now stood in.
"How did you get there?!" She asked, jumping up from the bed.
"I..." The spaceman looked around himself. "I'm... Not sure." He stated.
------------
The dwarf awoke, looking around. He sat up, looking to the beds ridgedog was supposed to be in. He stood, walking over and noticed that the reaper was no longer there. He sighed. "Guess he had other things to do." He sat on the empty bed, and felt himself get pushed off, yelling as he fell. The ground beneath him shot up a little, and fell back to its original place. He looked up to see the reaper sat there, rubbing his eyes.
"Why did you sit on me?!" He asked.
"I! You weren't there before!" He stated as quickly as he could.
The reaper looked down at himself, one of his hands invisible.
"Hmm..." He said, then saw it come back. "Strange."
They heard two yells from their friends from the factory, and jumped up.
"I'll teleport us up there." The reaper stated. But as the dwarf was expecting it, it didn't happen. "What the..." Ridgedog said. He tried again, and instead of teleporting, he found himself lift off the ground, banging his head on the ceiling.
He knocked the dwarf back, who fell through the door, and stopped before he hit the floor. The dirt beneath him had lifted to give him a cushion. The ground slowly went back down and the dwarf stood there, his arms half raised, looking terrified.
"What the fuck?!" He squealed.
------------
By the time they got upstairs, the spaceman and fox tailed girl were trying to put out a fire on one of the beds.
As the fire caught to Xephos' shirt, he suddenly began teleporting around the room randomly until it was out.
And the more Exza tried to put the fire out, the more it spread. Starting from her fingertips.
The dwarf and reaper ran over, trying to help put it out.
------------
She laughed.
"Now this is more like it..."
