Description Before the crystal had a chance to do anything, the spaceman ran and grabbed the fox girl, teleporting over to the other two and then teleporting somewhere random.
They all landed on the floor, hard. The spaceman hadn't exactly had time to get used to his teleport yet. He sighed, laying there for a second before sitting up and pushing himself to his feet.
"Everyone alright?" Ridge asked, looking around.
"As far as I can tell." Honeydew stated, rubbing his head. "What I wanna know is what the fuck happened to that crystal?!"
------------
"Yes dwarf... What did happen to me crystal... This is ruining my fun!"
She grits her teeth. She would hate to have to get involved in this story.
------------
The spaceman helped the fox girl up. "You alright?" He asked, noticing the red cuts across her chest and left arm from where the crystal had hit her.
"I think so..." She sighed, clearly in pain.
"Wait..." Ridge walked over, holding up a hand. "Healing magic remember..." He moved his hand across, struggling to find the right way to summon the magic. When he did, the marks began to fade and heal.
"That was close." The dwarf stated. "Too close for my liking." He sighed, sitting on a big rock and kicking a pebble across the floor.
"Where are we?" The spaceman asked, looking around. "Looks familiar."
They all looked around.
"Guys..." Exza said, getting their attention. She pointed across behind herself, showing them all Ridgedog's castle, smoke rising from the ceiling and holes broken through the wall. "Guess our home base is now unusable... Sorry Ridge."
"Don't apologise. Its probably my fault anyway, that thing being able to find us meant that he would have to have been tracking me. Might be something to do with my powers being taken away." The reaper shrugged.
"Wait..." Exza said, standing from her rock perch. "You don't think...?"
Xephos walked over. "I don't think that's right Exzy..."
"But it could be."
"What?!" The reaper asked.
"What if... When you touched the crystal, it took your powers?" She asked. There was a moment of silence. "Think about it. You touch a random space crystal and it burns you or whatever. And then suddenly you have none of your powers. Sounds fishy to me." She shrugged. "I don't know though. Just a theory."
"A game theory...?" The dwarf mumbled in the background.
"Why is it whenever you get involved everything goes wrong." Exza asked, before turning away from the reaper.
"Makes a difference from it being you!" Ridge said, venom in his voice. "How many times have you almost gotten us all killed?"
"At least I don't do it on purpose. Or am I the only one who remembers the hunger games?" The fox asked, turning round. The argument had started. "I didn't force my friends to fight one another."
"I didn't plan for this to happen fox."
"Why did you get involved. Why did you suddenly appear. Why is it always when you bloody show up?!"
"Look guys calm down..." Xephos said, trying to null the situation. "Ridge didn't mean to and Exza, you've been stressed recently with everything that's been going on... Everyone just chill."
It didn't help, the fox shot a small fireball at the reaper and Xephos dodged out the way to avoid getting any on himself. He went and stood next to the dwarf, who was just watching. "Never seen them argue like this..." He mumbled.
"Yeah. I'm surprised as well, they're usually getting on each others nerves all the time." The dwarf answered casually as the two were fighting.
"I could crush you!" The reaper shouted, gripping the fox tailed girl round the throat and throwing her to one side. She transformed into a fox, running and biting into his leg.
"Ahh!" He yelled, grabbing her and throwing her away before throwing a wave of pushback magic at her. She lifted her arm up, blocking it as her arm turned to metal.
"Well that's a new one..." The dwarf said.
"Yeah I'll write it down." The spaceman answered, taking out the list the girl had written before.
"That's it!" The reaper yelled as Exza threw a wave of fire that surrounded him. Suddenly, the wounds the reaper had healed on her chest and arm began to open and bleed once again, but this time they became deeper, more red, waves of blood pouring out as the fox girl went pale and dropped to her knees, weakly trying to keep herself up.
"ENOUGH!" The spaceman shouted, getting in between them and putting his hands out. The reaper obeyed seen as the spaceman was using his mind control power, and stepped back. "Ridge you need to know when enough is enough."
The reaper blinked back to reality and watched the spaceman helping the fox girl up. He observed the wounds on her chest.
"Fine..." The reaper said, waving his hand at the girl, the cuts began to heal once again. "Guess I can reverse heals as well..." He mumbled before going and sitting next to the dwarf.
"I hate you..." Exza said as he walked past. He could hear the anger and upset in her voice and felt almost bad for what he had done.
"I suggest we figure out where we are." The spaceman said, looking around. "I think... Considering that we aren't that far from Ridges... And there's water between us and there... I'd say were somewhere in between Lalna's castle and Lomadia and Nilesy's place." He guessed, looking at the rest of them.
"Well you do have super speed remember..." Exza mumbled.
"Ahh yes." The spaceman smiled. "I'll check it out." And with that, he disappeared, some leaves on the floor blowing around as he dashed off.
------------
It was night time now, they had set up a little campfire in the little sandy opening they were sat in, surrounded by rocks where they had been sitting earlier. Exza sat to one side, right next to the fire, her legs curled to her chest and one hand out to the fire, staring at it.
The spaceman was across from her, leaning against one of the rocks and poking a stick at the fire.
Honeydew sat trying to get into a packet of marshmallows, seen as they were all hungry and the dwarf always came prepared.
And Ridge was next to the dwarf, sitting back from everyone else and watching his own hand glow white as he made it, and then go back to normal.
Everyone was clearly bored, and the silence hung in the air and was making the dwarf more and more agitated, seen as they were all waiting for him. He sighed a breathe of relief as he managed to open the bag and then handed it round, everyone besides Exza took some and put them onto sticks, putting them in the fire and waiting for them to cook.
It had been a long day.
-----------
"Now whereeeeee did you gooooo?~" the crystal asked, looking through the castle still. "I will find youuuuuu!~"
He began chuckling to himself, before beginning to whistle a broken tune to himself.
"I have no strings..." He said darkly to himself.
------------
"Puppet..." Exza whispered.
She looked up to see everyone looking at her. "Sorry... Don't know why I said that." She shook her head, rubbing her eyes.
"Its ok." The spaceman said, attempting to eat one of the boiling marshmallows.
The fox tailed girl looked back at the castle. Something didn't feel right about that crystal. She knew it.
------------
"This is not how the story was supposed to go at all!"
She stood, walking round the other side of the long table.
"This girl. She will fix it! I know she will... Why has my crystal done this?"
