It had been a few days, though it seemed like months, and throughout that time, Lalna and Honeydew had been digging non-stop to try and find the supplied they needed for the ground scanner. Now was the first time they had gotten together and sat down to have a break. Honeydew looked up at Lalna, who was looking through the supplies. He saw the scientists look of disappointment.
"We don't have enough do we...?" He asked, he wanted to be angry at himself for not digging faster or pushing himself harder, but he was too tired to think straight. His arms and cheeks were smeared with mud, his hair and beard were greasy and dirty, and his muscles ached from working them too hard. He watched as the scientist pulled his goggles off his hair, they had left a clean band where they had been, but his blonde hair was now mostly brown with dirt. His eyes had big black bags underneath and he couldn't raise his arms properly without being in pain.
"We're off by about 5 diamonds..."
"So... we have everything else?"
"Yes..."
"Well, we, we have to keep digging for more!"
"Honeydew... I'm exhausted... and so are you... we need to rest..."
"But... what about Xeph?!"
"We'll... we'll go find Ridge tomorrow... we'll see if he's seen him, or at the very least if he'll lend us some diamonds..."
Honeydew wanted to argue, but it was late, and so he simply nodded and walked back up the stairs of the mine they had made.
They both went to sleep, with only a few hours until it would be the next day. They knew they wouldn't get much sleep, but they tried anyway. Hopefully they could get an hour or so...

------------

Xephos sat up, he was in a forest biome. What had happened? The sun was just rising over the mountains to his south, and the birds in the trees above chirped down at him. He looked around, he hadn't been here before. He thought back to the last thing he remembered, and images flashed through his head of him sinking in water... then Sips and Sjin... He remembered now...

*------*------*

"D...do you wanna stay here?" Sjin asked. Sips tapped him with the back of his hand and gave him a look. "Come on sips... look at him..." the architect had whispered.
The spaceman watched, the fake tears still fresh in his eyes. All he wanted was for them to hurry up so that he could take the pills.
"Alright... fine... do you want to stay here?"
"W...well... if you're sure it alright..." Xephos answered, he could be an actor! "I wouldn't want to be a bother..."
Sips sighed. "No, its fine, really. We've been pretty bored anyway so... it's fine." He gave a small smile.
Xephos smiled back, and stood up shakily, whipping the water from around his mouth and neck. Something in the back of his mind smirked as it watched what was happening, and as soon as the two men had given the spaceman a room to himself, and given him some clean clothes while Sjin washed his, he sat down on his bed and opened up the pills.

------------

Lalna sat up and rubbed his eyes, that still stung from the night before. He looked across the room to where Honeydew was wide awake.
He wasn't doing too well either. The scientist had only gotten about twenty minutes sleep.
They nodded to each other, and headed to Ridge's after gathering some protective supplies. They didn't want Ridge killing them before they could ask him anything. There were no mobs on the way there, bar a few sheep and a cow that had fallen from Honeydews sky farm and landed safely in the water.

------------

Xephos had had a quick sleep and walked out of the room the two were lending him, he felt  a lot better now, despite hating himself for having to take the pill.
The architect and dirt trader were working on the drill when he walked over.
"Morning Xeph, feeling better?" Sjin asked.
The spaceman nodded and watched what they were doing.
"There's a bacon sandwich over there if you wanted one." Sips added.
"Thank you." The spaceman answered and walked into the other room to eat his sandwich. Those two were such idiots, they didn't even realise that he was just using them to have a good nights sleep. Oh well, at least while he was alone, and those two were busy with that stupid drill, he could have a quick something to eat, and look through their supplies. After all, he had come to the conclusion, that he couldn't make a bunker without anything whatsoever, so he looked through the chests after having ate his bacon sandwich.
After thinking he had enough, having filled up his pack with supplies, he walked out to the other two.
"Thank you for letting me stay." He said.
The other two turned to him.
"Are you leaving already?" Sjin asked.
"Yeah... I think it's time I went back home... I'd hate to overstay my welcome anyway. I just hope those two will let me back..."
"Good luck." Sips said, slightly sarcastically. The spaceman gave a glare when no-one was looking and then smiled cheerily.
"Bye guys." He said, before waving and walking out of the door, it would be a long way to get to the surface. But at least he could relax a bit, knowing he had taken one of the pills.
