I had been rebuilding the Skylords over the course of the past few months, though it had felt more like years, my name is Skylord_Lysander and this is the tale of how one of my good friends doomed the Skylords.

We all sat in the briefing room, at one end of the round table was us, the Skylords, or at least what remained of them, me, the new leader of the Skylords, Jasper (regrettably), maiden (Ambers daughter), Alieth (my second in command transferred from Skyport in Cresnall) and Smithyen (his brother). Across from us were the carnies, who looked extremely worried. I myself didn't believe the women's 'prophecy', but there was something in her eyes that made me feel sick to my stomach.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait!" Skylord Alieth said, walking closer to the carnies, one arm crossed over the other the other waving through the air in a stopping motion. "I have heard tales of these brave heroes, they would not do this!" he stated, the dark skinned women looked up at him and spoke in a voice that made him cringe, she had obviously been smoking most of her life "'Tis true Skylord, Di's be the prophecy I had. It not for both heroes, but one be doomed by the sand." he couldn't tell if she was speaking calmly or not, but she sounded on edge and looked it aswell. She pulled out a white chess piece that was turning black from what looked like the heart of a familiar figure. I walked over and pulled the chess piece form her thin hands. "And you found this?" I asked the women nodded "I found dis' by the outskirts of dem sands, it be a terrible omen." I looked to the other carnies who shuffled their feet in anxiety.

"Show me how this is a bad omen, for I just see a chess piece off a good man with but a little dirt on his jacket." I stated, the women looked worried like she didn't want to endure a pain twice over. Mr_Banjo stepped fall wards and put a hand on the women's shoulder "I would prefer Madam_Nebescu to rest she has been through enough today" he spoke in his peculiar voice. I looked to the women and she nodded "I shall do dis for the sake of Minecraftia, but be warned the sorrow you are about to observe." she said in a voice as dark as doom, but mixed with terrified emotions.

I nodded and the women put her hands around mine and bowed her head, closing her eyes, I did the same though steadily incase I wasn't suppost to. I was and what I saw only terrified me to my bones, the impact of the vision had made my heart stop and I could hardly breath. It was so real, I stood in front of the sands, darkness surrounded me and whipped at my ankles. I coughed and black dust spread from my mouth, a I looked down at my hands I saw that I was standing on a cliff face, the only other light around was a man. He was tall from what I could see, but the light was glowing red. Black tendrils climbed up through the sand and clawed at the ground around the figure. I went to shout at them to look out but I couldn't, I could only watch as a monstrosity even an enderdragon would be afraid of emerged from the sands. The figure stood there, aware of what was happening around them, but they stood there proudly, their arms to their sides a bow in one.

The creature rose form the sands and roared in a deathening blast that shook the ground and almost knocked me off my feet. I gapped at the monstrosity, to see that the figure had rose with it, at least 50 feet above the 60-70 foot cliff I was stood on was a man, his arms were outstretched to the sides and his head was backwards, like he was suffering from too much power inside. Though that didn't last for long, I tried to ask if they needed help if they were in pain and you know probably suggest that they get out of the way of the giant creature that was stood at their heel. But I couldn't I just watched in horror as the figure lowered their arms slowly and bowed their head. A tangle of once neatly kept brunette hair flopped over their face, getting in their eyes. They looked up and the wind was knocked out of me form the shock of the evolution.

This figure, this man, was my friend. He was a hero! He was the spaceman and his eyes glowed red like the lavarouse look he had only imagined to be depicted on Israphels face himself. This was Xephos, and he, was evil.
