He had been kneeling against the floor for a good half an hour by the time he had ran out of tears to cry. It took him a moment of staring at the floor before he slowly sat back up, staying in his kneeling position as he looked across at the water and port. The water was calmly moving, sloshing from side to side as the sun rose behind it. He didn't realise he had been there in the dark. At least no mobs had been to attack him. At the same time, they would provide at least a humanoid figure. He reluctantly turned his communicator on, knowing that he probably won't be prepared for the disappointment of not having anyone answer to his questions. Of course, no one had. He held the communicator out in front of him and let it drop to the floor.
After a moment he pulled out his original communicator, the one he was found with years before. He looked down at the little golden badge and pressed it. Like usual, static. Nothing but the small beeps that usually rung when he pressed it on. He sighed, wanting to cry more, but unable to. He put the communicator back into his pocket and went back to staring at the water.

He heard a beep. And looked to his left. Honeydew stood there.

"Honey-"

"Xephos... Look, Ridge says I... Don't have long."

"W...what?" He continued to watch as Ridge appeared next to Honeydew and the dwarf disappeared.

"We only have limited time Xephos. So we have to talk quickly." The dwarf appeared once again and the reaper disappeared.

"Look Xeph I know this is... Sort of confusing, and I know you'll probably have questions... But we just need you for one moment to not talk and just listen. OK?"

The spaceman stared up at his ginger bearded friend and gave a small nod.

"Right, well... I guess by now you've realised that... No one else is there with you... Me and Lalna got taken through the black hole... And the lasers had destroyed different parts of the world before we turned it off... So the rail bros, black rock, the sapling forest... Everything sort of... Got wiped out. And most of our friends did as well. You told me that the lasers hurt if you went near them... Lalna told me that the lasers must have hurt because it was... What was it lalna?" The dwarf looked to the left, where the scientist appeared and the dwarf disappeared.

"It decomposed the matter inside of us... So... Basically it uses the same precision as that of... A black hole."

The dwarf re-appeared and the scientist disappeared again.

"Yeah, so when people get hit by the lasers it means they... Get 'decomposed' and sent to... Well... Here. And Ridge has said that... Well, he doesn't really know where here is. And we only have limited power which is why we needed to make it quick. We didn't know if we had actually linked onto you for these messages, but I guess we must have. So, now for what we need YOU to do. We're stuck here at the moment with practically nothing, so... While we try and figure out where we are and why we're here, we need you... To find out who sent us here, who wanted to destroy the world, and who created the cheesebots. I guess on the planet you have most of the stuff you need from before, but obviously you'll need to be smart and gather more supplies to make another reactor for power or whatever. But... You understand what we need you to do... You're the only person still there, you're alone again. And..."

The dwarf actually looked straight at him now, into his eyes as the spaceman slowly rose to his feet and looked down at his friend.

"And for that... I'm so sorry... I know I told you you'd never be alone again, and I sorta broke that promise by being stupid. But just know that this isn't the end. You will see us again and we will rebuild what we've lost. Well, apart from the cheesbots." He gave a sad chuckle at the spaceman. "Anyway... Ridge says I can't talk much longer so... I guess seen as I know this isn't goodbye, I'll say farewell. For now."

The spaceman put his hand forward to put it on the dwarfs shoulder plate, and watched as his hand went straight through. He looked at the dwarf as he gave a sad look.

"I'm sorry friend... I'M 5or7y-"

That was when the message cut off, and the dwarf disappeared one last time. But this time, instead of someone else appearing, nothing happened. And once again, everything fell silent. And he was alone again.
