The spaceman sighed, which - from his new size and not realising - almost knocked his dwarven friend from his shoulder. He apologised and watched as Honeydew readjusted his helmet and shook his head.
"It's alright friend." He answered. "now, I think we should start, by going to Lalna's castle... see what he can do."
"Shouldn't we go to Ridge's?"
"I think we should wait for that, after all, we'd have to actually FIND Ridge's place first, and Lalna's is close to here, and easy to find."
The spaceman nodded, once again, watching his friend regain his position after almost knocking him off his perch. The dwarf stood up, still the size of an average human, if but a tiny bit smaller, and noticed that he was exactly the same height has his head (as far as his hair went up - slicked up when he was at Yoglabs) So he wasn't too big himself, although a little bigger than what he would like... obviously...
He put his hand out for his dwarven friend to stand on while he stood up, once he saw his friend wasn't going to fall, he stood up. TING. He rubbed his head and groaned in pain, looking at the metal pipe, which he had hit his head on. He tried to ignore Honeydew's chuckle and placed his friend back onto his shoulder. "You may want to hold on..."
Honeydew gripped onto his friends waistcoat (Again, something he only really wore around Yoglabs) and gave his friend a thumbs up. Xephos at first had difficulty walking, trying not to sway too much for his friends sake, and almost tripping over his own feet clumbsilly. Honeydew at this point (after about ten steps) had found it safer to slide down into his oversized friends front pocket on his waistcoat.
After about ten minutes of walking (what would have usually taken twenty) they were a fair bit over half way there, but something was wrong... Honeydew popped his head out of his friends pocket, noting that his friend was walking slower than before.
"What's wrong friend?"
"N-nothing..."
Honeydew raised an eyebrow. "Tell me."
"I feel weird..."
"Well... you are a lot different than usual."
"Honeydew. im serious... I feel... tired..." Xephos said. "Plus I think im... Oh no..." He quickly picked his friend from his pocket and placed him on the floor before hugging himself and dropping to his knees. At first, Honeydew was confused, but then realised, his friend was growing once again. He watched in shock as his friend grew even larger. He looked up at his friend and gave a saddened look when Xephos - who still sat, hugging himself with his eyes closed tight - whimpered and sniffled, trying to hold in tears.
"Friend...?" The dwarf asked, quietly. He felt so bad for making this happen to his friend, at first it was funny but now... he could tell it was hurting him. "Xephos... answer me..."
The spaceman slowly wiped his eyes and stood back up, shaking slightly. He felt quite a few of his bones click into place and then looked down at his friend.
"I... Um..." The dwarf stuttered, looking at his friend's sad expression. He let the spaceman pick him up, and then clambered back into his pocket, silently.
"It's fine..." Xephos said after a moment of standing still in the silence. And with that, he continued walking towards Lalna's castle.
