Honeydew flew swiftly over and grabbed the spaceman just before he hit the ground, he flew forward for a few more seconds before turning and landing, placing him down on the floor infront of him.
At this point Lalna was running over, and stopped when he got to them, gasping for air from the run. Honeydew tired from flying so fast as well, but Xephos sat up and looked at both of them, before standing back up and walking down to the beach and the computer, patting Robbit's head as he walked past.
Honeydew and Lalna looked to each other for a second before standing up straight themselves, an awkward silence hanging in the air. Honeydew broke it by turning and following Xephos, and Lalna wasn't really sure what to do at that point. He considered his golf course and figured that he could 'borrow' some collapsible blocks from the spaceman while he was busy. So he too followed him down to the beach.
Honeydew took note of the notice board, which had been extended quite a bit with a lot of words and contraptions he didn't really understand.
"So..." He said to the spaceman, leaning against one of the furnaces and trying to act casual. Xephos simply looked up at him with a harsh tone, before turning and searching through the computer. "...wanna explain why I just had to catch you?"
The spaceman looked up at him again and then turned and walked over to the notice board, extending it by two blocks, and adding two more signs, 'make jetpack + fuel' and 'atomic dissassembler.'
As he stretched to put the first up he felt the pain again, but decided to ignore it. The other two were getting a little too friendly over here at the moment, and he didn't want them to feel like they had to take care of him, he could look after himself without their help. And once he had the jetpack he wouldn't have to worry about falling any time soon.
He looked over at the other two, Honeydew shook his head slightly and Lalna was raiding the computer for some more collapsible blocks. The spaceman shot a warning fire at him from a laser gun and the scientist jumped back.
"Woah!" He shouted and turned to look at the spaceman, who still held the weapon up.
"You're lucky I don't have the machine gun or turret set up yet."
"Xeph, stop it." Honeydew said.the spaceman looked at him.
"Or what? You'll dissassble me to death? You wouldn't even get close." Xephos shook the mining laser round a little.
"Why are you being like this?!" Lalna interrupted.
"I don't know, maybe because I'm a 'whiney little bitch who needs to learn that he's not the only one who's important around here'." Xephos answered bitterly.
"Xeph! I didn't mean that!"
"I don't give a shit what you meant. Or if you meant it. You said it. Now get off my island before..." The pain was back as he raised the laser back to the scientist. He tried to shake it off.
"Xeph...?" Honeydew said.
The spaeman rilled himself up and attempted to aim the laser at the scientist. "Before..." He felt the gun slip from his hand and his legs give in as the pain surged down his left side. The last thing he saw being the worried looks on the other twos faces.
