"We have to get out of here!" Ridge said firmly. The spaceman turned to look at him before stepping forward, the dwarfs arm falling from around his shoulders. He walked towards the door. "Xephos. I said we have to get out of here. Did you not hear him?! This place is going to collapse and we're all gonna go with it."

"I am NOT leaving him. Not again." The blue eyed spaceman's tears were gone as he turned once again and made his way quickly out of the room, pacing down the crumbling corridors, trying to find his brother and the pale skinned man who held him captive. He preyed he wasn't too late as he pulled his jacket back over his body.

They came to a large room where the cages and water had been previously. Xephos looked down at the now bottomless pit, that instead of just being filled with water was a dark pit of nothing. Half way down, that was where they were. He looked down at Israphel with hate in his heart and quickly ran down to them. The whole place was in ruins, the building was falling apart, sinking into the swallowing earth around them, but he didn't care.

His friends were behind him, jogging to catch up as the spaceman leapt from the broken staircase and landed on the floor that was at least ten foot down. He quickly recovered and ran over, skidding to a halt as the pale skinned man looked back at him, holding his twin by the throat and threatening to throw him into the abyss.

"I'm impressed Xephos. With all the power you already possess, you could have been even greater."

"Let him go you bastard."

"There are monsters in the deep dark that your pitiful mind cannot even imagine spaceman. One wrong move, and it's game over." The red eyed man extended his arm, the spaceman's twins legs hanging over the edge as large black tendrils and tentacles whipped around hungrily at the bottom of the abyss, snapping themselves towards the man that was just out of reach.

"Let him go. Please." Xephos said, shaking slightly as he saw the tendrils, just inches from his brother.

The walls trembled, caving in further, the tentacles had to retract, moving half way down the pit. Xephos felt a little safer for his brother and edged closer as Israphel was looking down to the darkness. He was almost close enough to tackle the man. He was sure he could push Israphel over the edge and push his brother onto it, even if it meant falling himself, at least he would take that beast down with him once and for all.

"Alright Xephos. I will."

The spaceman raised an eyebrow.

"Only joking." There was a sinister smile and the green eyed alien was falling.

'Xephos, this is foolish!' Ridgedog communicated to the spaceman through thought, but it was obvious he wasn't going to listen. Xephos ran towards the pale skinned man, but didn't hit him, instead, he jumped over the edge, attempting to grab onto Green before it was too late. 'I won't let him go, not again, I'm not gonna let him go! No matter how much I have to fight, no matter how close I get to death I am NOT gonna give up, and I am not gonna let him die.'

He felt himself choking and looked up through teary eyes to see Israphel gripping onto the back of his jacket. He looked down, to his brother as he tried to scramble his way out of the beasts grip. It was no use. He watched his brother fall into the mess of tendrils and tentacles, being suffocated by the deep dark in the endless, bottomless pit.

Ridge turned to the others and then back down. "ENOUGH." He said, his voice echoing around and bouncing off the walls. The pale skinned man dropped the sobbing spaceman and then disappeared into smoke. The reaper didn't hesitate, and as the walls were crumbling around them, he teleported the others out, then flashed to where the spacemen had fallen.

------------

Honeydew stood up, the others were all catching there breathe and he looked forth to the crumbling building that stood ahead of them. They watched from the hilltop that they were on, the building catching flame, sinking quickly into the ground. Tendrils rose from the sides and swallowed the building, gone forever.

Nothing happened after that. They didn't see the other three running from the building, they didn't hear Ridge in their minds or feel Xephos presence near them. Everything lay quiet. Everything lay still. And everyone cried... Hugged... Except Honeydew... Who stood still, watching the hole in the ground, as if everything was in slow motion. He didn't hear the crying. He didn't hear the sobs. And he didn't hear Ridge appear behind everyone. Until everything went quiet. Then he heard it. He heard the silence, the break from the chaos, no-one made a sound, no-one cried and no-one mourned. He turned around slowly.

Ridge fell from the sky, the spaceman rolled on the floor next to him, unconscious. The reaper panted, attempting to catch his breathe.

Honeydew looked down to his friend. His broken friend. His tormented friend.

------------

Xephos felt numb. He felt broken. Then, he opened his eyes. He looked up at the crying faces, everyone made noise, everyone checked that he was alright, everyone except Honeydew. The dwarf stood a little distance away from the others, looking straight at him, straight into him.

The spaceman ignored the others and slowly stood up, aching all over. He limped towards the dwarf, and stopped when he was a few centimeters in front of him. They stood for a moment, looking at each other. He didn't smile. For once when he looked at his friend, he didn't want to. "Thank you." He said, and the dwarf quickly hugged him.

They stood for a moment before a somewhat sarcastic reaper interrupted. They turned to him. "Oh sure, don't say thank you to the one who saved your ass! Geez some people!" Ridge stood up and looked at everyone.

"I didn't think you was going to do anything..." Xephos admitted. "I thought you didn't care about us..."

The reaper looked down.

"I guess I was very wrong... Thank you ridge... Thank all of you guys... I... I was so close to giving up but... Then I thought of you guys... I thought of home..."

"You remembered your home?" Lalna asked curiously.

The spaceman shook his head. "I am home."

They all grouped round and gave him a big hug together. They heard him groan in pain a little and laughed, and so did he.

------------

Green woke up. He was in a dark room. Sitting up, he heard a voice. A broken, charming voice. He looked to his left. To the Dr.

"Everything's going to he alright now Green. You're OK."
