Livid had known full well what they were going to do, they were playing into the broken men's traps. But they kept on climbing the white sterile staircase even though fearing what they would find at the summit. The path laid out didn't change or steer of course it was the same pattern, just looping round the outside of the room they had just been sat in. Honeydew tried not to think of his friend, somewhere at the bottom of that ice-cold water. But as they neared the top of the staircase, they fount their friends, all of them in cages like they were, just in bigger glass.
Their friends were separated into groups, Sips and Sjin, Rythian and Zoeya and Teep, Nilesy and Panda, Lomadia and Mr Owl, Ridge was on his own (probably for good reason), Zyluss and Ravs, Minty and Strippin and Benjii, Martyn and Toby, Sparkles* and Parv and the rest of the band were there... How where the two men going to help them?
"Oh hey guys." Sjin said in a neutral tone "I didn't think that they'd got you two at first, seen as you weren't here." he added, but then it dawned on him. He looked around for the spaceman. "Where's Xephos?" he asked and almost immediately the strong dwarf in front of them burst out into tears. Even Lalna looked shocked at this before putting his hand on the dwarfs shoulder and thinking of the right words to tell their friends how the spaceman wasn't with them anymore.
"Test two." a charming but broken voice sounded over a microphone "Explaining and escape."

Well one thing was true, the spaceman wasn't with them anymore. He fell. The water had stopped and he fell into a white room, landing on his face. he lay in a strange way, his left leg was out to the side and his right was stretched out behind him, his left arm was wrapped around the front of his face that was slightly tilted to the right of him, and his right arm was to the side of him but bent fall wards.
He lay there, in the same position. Two men walked over to him, a scientist looking man with blonde hair and brown eyes with a green tint to the centre and an almost look alike of the dead spaceman that lay in front of them.

"Well." Lalna started, all of his friends were looking at him. "We were in that room above." everyone in the cages looked up, seen as the cages were set around the centre looking out over the room where Xephos was lost. "And we were dropped into the pool." he continued, not wanting to say the wrong thing. "I saw that." Sips stated "I think we all did, Honeydew was screaming like a baby!" he joked and got a few sniggers from Sjin out of it. But the others seemed interested to know what had happened to the spaceman "Xephos was, unconscious." the scientist continued, his voice cracking a bit in the midst of the sentence. "And, we couldn't reach him in time-"
"-He's dead, my best friend is dead and its all my fault!" the mourning dwarf suddenly shouted in despair, making most of their friends jump.                "It wasn't your fault!" Lalna tried to comfort his friend "If blame is to be made it should be my fault. I should have realised that he was still unconscious and swam down to save him." the scientist added, tears in his eyes.
"So- so Xephos is d-dead?" Lomadia asked, she had always had a massive crush on the tall spaceman, even if he didn't acknowledge or understand it. She was hugging Mr Owl, who nuzzled against her neck in comfort. Lalna nodded to the owl lover. What else could he do? he couldn't bring him back, he couldn't rewind time. Ridge could bring him back, but the man was in a magic proof cage. Some of his inventions could, but they were probably miles away from his castle with no way of getting out either.

Two blue lights flickered on the floor next to the spaceman. they flickered with such speed that you could suffer an epileptic fit if you looked for too long.

"What are we going to do?" Both dirt traders asked as the dwarf and scientist dropped to the floor at the side of the room in despair.                              "Hey guys." Zoeya called from her cell.                                                                                                                                                                     "We find a way out of this place." Lalna answered Sips and Sjin, ignoring the girls call from the other side of the room.                                                   "Guys?!" she shouted again.                                                                                                                                                                                     "How are we gonna do that?" Toby asked from in the cell next to the dirt traders.                                                                                                        "I." Was all the scientist could get out of his mouth. "I- I don't know." he finished.                                                                                                       "GUYS!!" Zoeya shouted as loud as she could to everyone, who looked around in curiosity and even a little bit of anger.
The mushroom loving girl wasn't the brightest and her ideas almost never worked so nobody seemed very interested in what she had to say most of the time, other than Rythian and Teep. She pointed down into the pool and nodded her head in the same direction.                                                          "Look." she said. Sure enough everyone did. From the darkness of the pool below they saw two very faint and small, but noticeable blue lights
