It had been a week, Sips had been there for four of them days, and there wasn't a lot of progress. Lalna was in charge of finding out what was wrong with Xephos, honeydew was in charge of slowly working through the maze of prisons next to them on Loverly island (though it was slow, he was working as quickly as he could). The supplies were medical and were what Lalna needed to analysis things. And Sips was in charge of keeping the spaceman cool and making sure he didn't injure himself while asleep. This involved wiping his bruised ribs, and trying to keep them moisturised so that his skin didn't split, seen as it was so tight. Sips had agreed to stay over until the spaceman was better, he said that it was 'to do with buiseness at the dirt factory', but the other two gathered the grey skinned man was worried about his friend, whether he called him one or not.
A lot of others had been worried about not seeing the spaceman in a while, including Sjin, Turps and a few others. They had sent letters back saying that he was fine, of course Ridge didn't believe it for one second, and teleported over not long after the letter got to him. He was the one making sure the supplies for looking after the spaceman (as a posed to what Honeydew was doing with gathering research supplies) he would constantly be zapping back and forth from his base to craggy island to loverly island, because, like Sips, even though he considered Xephos a friend, he wouldn't admit it in a hurry, but he would do a lot for him. It was almost as if the two were brothers.
Honeydew spent the nights in the same room as his best friend, sleeping in the chair near his bed in case he decided to throw up randomly or fall off the bed. Sips and Lalna slept over at the shack (which they had extended) on craggy island, and ridgedog mostly just seemed to hang from the ceiling like a bat over at Loverly island.
Everyone had their jobs, and everyone was working the best they could. Sjin and Terps bad offered to come over and stay and help out a bit, seeing slightly through their lie after the first couple of letters, and could turn up at any point if they wanted to. They were trying to help, they knew they couldn't keep it up forever.
