My son is gay, and I love him just the same, "no person" can judge something that is not felt within themselves!

i feel the way you do in the point of judging others. but I feel there is judging both ways. I mean, for me, it seems because I am Mormon and do not support homosexuality that means that i hate them and judge them for their sexuality. but thats not the case at all. i honestly do not care whether your gay or straight or bisexual or whatever. If you are homosexual, i don't think its right but i'm not going to stop loving or being a friend because of that. just as i wouldn't if a friend had a drinking problem ect... i just wish we'd all look at everyone's sides, not just the obviously hurt ones, and realize the only way to fix it is to love everyone, despite our own personal beliefs

I'm sorry but I have to reply on that.
If you don't 'support' homosexuality, then you are judging. That you still care is a different matter. But judging? Yes!
And people will always judge each other. It's how life works.
I judge you. For thinking homosexuality is something you have the right to choose to support or not. You make it sound like people have chosen to be gay. Did you choose to be straight? If so please tell me when and where that happened, maybe I can write a complaint to God for not being given the option.

Not supporting is not necessarily judging. If you don't support something, that is your own personal view. When you bring your views down and measure them against someone or something, THAT is judgment.
Another example being: I don't like (or in the context of the discussion, support) modern rap or pop music. But I don't judge the people that do; it is purely my opinion on the subject. If I were to say, "I don't like you because you like pop or rap music," then shame on me for being judgmental.
So saying you don't support homosexuality is saying you don't approve of that particular lifestyle. It's not something you, yourself, would do. That is opinion. To take it further and hate on a person for his/her choices (albeit chosen or not) is judgment.

Big difference between judging someone and getting out the lynching rope or beating the living crap out of them (as you said, we all judge whether they are gay or straight)...I don't have problem with what sexuality others choose, but if someone doesn't agree, but isn't aggressive or condescending allowing both to co-exist its not such a bad thing because the end of the day these people just want to live their lives the way they see as fit as the next guy/gal does.
I'm straight as a Sioux arrow but I was one of only a few straight guys that would do security at a gay community nite club with a company I used to work for...it wasn't an easy job, but I got to meet some cool people that really see things in a perspective I don't (I was even a body guard for one of Ru Pauls models when touring here)...I may have disagreed with some perspectives they had but I didn't have an issue with them having them because when I went home at night it didn't effect me in any way. Which is why I fully support gay marriage and their position in the community...maybe I've gone off on a tangent here, but for a while I was a protector and I did deal with people that were extremely hostile and violent towards the gay community which is where I see the line drawn.
When you experience on a night to night basis people quite literally wanting to kill or hurt someone because they are gay, you see a side of humanity that is rarely exhibited and swept under the rub by the common media...which IMO is wrong.

While I don't personally approve of the act homosexuality this hatred needs to stop. Homosexuals are people they are someones sons or daughters just like everyone else. Beautiful expressive shot I hope the message is seen also.

Again, I like this piece too. While I've made my opinion clear that I think America is a wonderful place and that the gay rights movement has been going in the right direction, there are still a lot of things that could improve, and this is a moving piece. His face is almost lifeless. Captivating.

That was one of the most insensitive comments out of all the negativity. This is a great shot. The makeup also looks awesome; very realistic.
