When the Night Trees son had just reached the age where he was old enough to make his own decisions, the Nemesis Of Night Tree convinced him to do a terrible thing. The Night Tree blamed both his Nemesis and his son for this action, and has not spoken to his son since, and to which only added to the long hatred for his brother the Nemesis.

The Night Tree in a sense took it out the worst on his daughters though, which he has kept locked in the deepest and darkest part of his forest, as to not let anyone influence them. Never wanting to lose another child to the light, he keeps his three girls away from any possibility.

And so they stay, keeping themselves occupied with eachother, unaware of what is outside their world. Every night tree gets older, every night tree wonders, they are no different. The Night Tree can only exercise control for so long, before they discover what he himself has seen before, and what his son is now presently lost in.
