Great concept, the perspective adds depth, the lighting adds an element of "danger" and the model almost feels like an actress pretending to be a model. It's hard to explain, but I love the whole set-up...Well done!

when you get an idea. how does your process work? how long does it usually take for you to plan out a shoot? i'm just curious.

they all vary, depends on level of production, props, what kind of model, many other things. Just depends on the pieces and how they need to come together. This from thought to finished product was about a month in talking and planning.

Sounds about right. I don't know what is it, but ever since moving to Las Vegas it is impossible to find a model that won't flake on me and i'm not the only one that has this problem. I've even had body painters and MUA's flake. At the time and during the planning they all seem so interested and then the day before and the day of they just go ghost on me. How does one go about getting agency represented models?

If models are flaking on you, you are picking the wrong people. Not sure how or why, but good people are out there and everywhere.
You either find your local agency, and hire a model for money, or you wait till your good enough that they will let you test shoot models for free. You can get that done by going in and showing your work, emailing your work, sending portfolios. If they don't respond you either not good enough or they haven't seen it.

Yeah I don't know what it is to be honest, But i know that its just me (because i thought that at first) but after talking to other photographers out here it seems to happen a lot even with paid models.
