At last I have to admit, that I don't like Ducans much. Anymore. I loved them years ago, he nearly was my first doll. Of course I like Pyrrie nevertheless! But what I wanted to say: This is such a beautiful photo of a Ducan. I love his wig, he looks really beautiful with it, and thank you for the close-up of the face-up. You know I love his eyelashes. ^^

Ahh no problem C: They're lovely eyelashes...I'll be sad to lose them when I redo his faceup, but his lips have rubbed terribly so it has to happen. I had to edit them and you can still see the rubbing orz. And the blushing on his cheeks is all but gone... But I'll try to make it similar to the default one, with perhaps a bit more of a pink/purple tone along with the blue O.O We'll see when it happens orz.

Okay, okay, maybe the second, because before I became a Ryu fanatic, I had been in love with El. Still am, he's like my first love and I still have to smile each time I see one. ^^Β°
Oh, no no no, El was my first doll. Shortly after I bought the Abadon for reasons I can't follow anymore. xD Then I paused the hobby for four years for personal reasons, but I bought the younger Alex in this time anyhow, because I hadn't unsubscribed for the Dollmore newsletter. I never wanted dolls for my characters, but then I saw him in the newsletter. It took me a few days to decide if it really was him - and it was. ^_^ It was coincidence, also the name of the sculpt: Alex.
But it was FATE when I visited the Luts website on November the 13th in 2011. I had no reason for being on this website. I saw Ignis, I saw his facial expression, I had tears in my eyes, I couldn't breath, I nearly hyperventilated, because I knew it was him. Then I saw that he was limited and began to panic, because Luts wouldn't tell me if he was limited to a certain quantity or period. Okay, I only had one photo of him and he and more photos were released on November the 15th at 12 o'clock noon in Korea. So I got up at 4 o'clock AM in Germany... AM... oh my god... which even are his initials... looked at the other photos and about 7 hours later I ordered him. Fate.
I need a doll for my second main character, but it's difficult, because he is not as feminine as most dolls on the one hand and not a really, really masculine guy like some other dolls on the other hand. That's why I'm not looking for him. Either he finds me or not. Difficult enough that he has to be 70cm as well now to match Alex. x_X Sometimes I use the Abadon for spontaneous ideas, but that can't be a permanent condition.
Is it possible to renew only parts of a faceup? .__.

ahhh...not exactly XD His entire faceup was done by Dream of Doll but a) they didn't seal his lips properly and b) I wasn't as careful as I should have been since he was my first doll and I didn't know what I was doing
Sooooo...right now his lips are horribly rubbed away. Some of what you see in the picture is what's actually on his face and some of it is photoshopped to look more or less how they did when I first got him XD
That shiny part is actually there though O.O

My story behind my doll would be that he is a boy detective who dresses as a girl to solve mysteries. I'd like to have a set of boy clothes and short hair for his "normal" look ... then have several frilly outfits for his disguises (lolita, school girl, maid

Haha it's fine XD And it's easy to do, you just have to make sure the weather is right for the sealant. If you don't seal it it could rub off in a few days. And you have to seal it before you put things on it too or it could ruin the resin :T
Ahh that would be so cute C: It might be difficult to alter the makeup that often though. I'm no expert in the field so there's probably away to do it
