Love the lighting here. Good proverb too, so true.

Beautiful! The lighting creates an almost mystical quality. You picked the right time of day to shoot. The light draping across the path is wonderful. Keep up the great work!

Beautiful!!!
When I was stationed at RAF Woodbridge in the late 1970's the walk from the dormitory to my squadron's office took me though a section of woods such as this. The really neat part was a portion was along an old sunken road.

Lovely picture. I agree with the above comment, it's got a very magical vibe to it. I love walking through those sorts of trails, so peaceful, especially when you have a dog with you. ^.^

Indeed when you take the time to just stroll through the countryside the magic and beauty of nature just unfurls before you

I lived in a mostly prairie environment.

Wouldn`t be good for me there, no shade to rest under
I love to stroll through trees and each road out of town cuts through forest - benefit if living next to one of the largest forests in England I guess!
Still I guess you can see for miles and the skies look big!

Well there are forests there too, just mostly prairie in my "neck of the wooods"
British Columbia is so much like the English climate and flora/fauana though.
