Sadly think Thomas only visits on a special Sunday and I`ve lost all my weekends now until Christmas - if I see Thomas I`ll remember you

Still *quaddie is having a Friday or Wednesday off so we can go out and about...

My boys used to wee in their Thomas ridealong toy (in the garden I hasten to add!) it used to slosh about as their rode along that`s my best/worse memory of Thomas!
They`d be soooooo embarrassed now...

I made you laugh. My day is complete...
They`d be absolutely horrified if they knew it was written there for all the world to see - one is 20 and one 22 now

My youngest is starting uni in September so cannot remember the names now, books and videos long since forgotten...
He would have loved this when younger, at 18 he wouldn`t be very impressed

I totally agree. My son will be 18 yrs in a couple of months and my daughter will be 12 yrs in a couple of months. My daughter never got into those types of shows. She preferred one on one learning. Love the pic though.

He was 18 at end of may - how did that happen, only seems like yestereday he was trundling around on his Thomas ride-on train
Other son was a Turtles fan - cowabunga and all that
My daughter was really into My Little Pony and Sylvanian Families
...not sure which was worse though

oh yes, my little pony. My daughters favorite out of the bunch as well as reading rainbow.

How kids grow up. It seems nice to see what they have turned out to be. But, I kind of miss the younger days. I have been a full stay at home mom since my son was born. It seem like yesterday that we were sitting outside and rolling the ball back and forth.

But, glad he is happy and moving on.

Still grandchildren we can hand back

HaveCoolKids In reply to In-the-picture [2007-07-10 12:25:41 +0000 UTC]

yes, grandkids can turn back the clock. Only this time, I can send them home after a day of spoiling and ball playing.

I am in no hurry for grandkids though. If it happens, then fine. But, I would just as soon wait a few more years. My son said he isn't ready for that until he gets a house and married. So, time will tell.
