It's been awhile hasn't it?I created this one with a thought of creating a web-layout at first. Then the more I worked on it, I thought it'd look good just as an artwork. So I continued on... Done everything in Photoshop 7. No filters other than the 'noise' filter. I also only used the default brushes (round ones) and a pen tool. Flowers were also drawn/illustrated/painted in Photoshop.
***I wish I had a tablet. It would make my artsy life 10000X easier to do this kind of stuff. ***
Concept : Realistic vector based artwork.
Symbolize : my memories in text, behing a torn and used cover. I called it Dearest which explains those memories to me.
Colors : static and calm represents my feelings at the time I was making it.
Overal meaning : Flowers represents myself as a person, how I love to make people happy. Calm and passionate (red touches in flowers with the cool color surrounding. You can see.. warm and cool at the same time.. Which is me in general. I can be very welcoming and friendly.. yet I can be very distant as well.
