This is literally the purest, sweetest ship possible. And it's so obvious even before you get them to go on a date.

Seriously, if anyone has the game, try calling Papyrus and Undyne as much as possible (usually twice per area) and you will get some GREAT lines. You'll find out things like how Undyne doesn't like ice cream because it's cold and sugary, but she likes the pink stuff that Alphys gives her that apparently comes from a machine in Alphys's lab (there is a dark theory about that, though). Or how the reason there's a water cooler in Hot Land is because Alphys left it there for Undyne so that she could get a drink of water every time she came to see her in her lab. If you call her from most areas of the dump, Undyne talks constantly about Alphys and how they met there. If you call her while in Alphys's lab, Undyne will start firing off questions about if Alphys is okay or if she needs anything- and, if you call her from Alpys's bedroom, she'll get really jealous and demand that you get out immediately x3

Hands down, though, the best phone call is when you're solving one of those vent puzzles in Hotland: Undyne says that she doesn't like puzzles that much and doesn't know how this one works, so Papyrus tells her that she should just call Alphys and ask her for help since it's one of Alphys's puzzles. When Undyne refuses, Papyrus tells her it's easy and demonstrates how to ask for help by telling her to use a "sexy voice" and say "Hey, Alphys..I could really..use your..help..with this..puzzle..<3" Undyne gets all flustered and embarrassed and is like "NO WAY!!" and Papyrus says "Okay, fine, give me the phone- I'll call her and do the sexy voice." to which Undyne responds with "THAT'S EVEN WORSE!!!!!!!" XD

This shipping is so obvious that even Papyrus makes hints and jokes and annoyed comments like he's been waiting for the two of them to get together forever XDD
