Description
I seem to have this trend lately of positioning pictures in the right bottom corner with lots of white space. So here's my first KH/KHII fanart. I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner, but I guess all those Naruto gifts got in the way.
Anyway, this piece is pretty much representative of how much I love these boys and their relationship and seriously, probably my one and only OTP. Whether romantically or not, it doesn't matter, because they are going to be together always.
Based on Riku's appearance, I suppose this would be a KH2 fanart, even though I haven't actually played the game yet (it's sitting next to me on the desk, mocking me with its shiny plastic wrapping). There's a reason I haven't started yet which I won't get into, and if a certain friend/s of mine see this, STOP LAUGHING AT ME I'LL GET THERE EVENTUALLY.
I tried to imitate the watercolor style that some of the official art uses (ie. Sora on the beach in the manual). But it was my first time trying to mix colors like that and I've never been great at color combination anyway, so sorry if some areas are kind of ugly (in several attempts I got a really icky brown color
Wow, I should have been in bed 45 minutes ago...will stop babbling now. Hope you like the pic, and g'night!

Ooh wow. This is so awesome!!
It looks very simple, but at the same time you can tell a lot of effort went into it.

Thank you! I was hoping that the simpler coloring style would make coloring faster, but it looks like that didn't happen.

;_; *sniff* Beautiful. I love it. Oh, and...I wish I could draw Sora's hair as perfectly as you do. I have alot of difficulties with his hair most of the time. Great job. Keep it up.

Heh heh I strangely have an easier time drawing wild sticking-out-all-over-the-place hair than I do with silky smooth hair (ie. Riku). I guess pretty boys just aren't for me.
Thank you for the comment!

But the massive amounts of white work so well! I almost -cooed- at this when I first saw it. Bravo~ you're finally getting over the "coloring" in the lines thing and letting loose!
(And I thought the "icky brown" works well too... not that I see any of it. The entire thing has an overshadow of warm yellow to it, so that creates a nice unity. b)
Love the streaming light effect btw.... need to attempt that one day.

Heh, yeah it was nice not having to worry so much about lines. But mixing colors is still a pain. (You can't see the icky brown because I erased it. Many times. Trust me, it was really ugly.)
Yay for streaming light! I was worried it was too distracting or something.
