Manimon is a personified moon digimon and is nicknamed “The Moon Prince”. It's said that they got that nickname due to how they achieve natural digivolution from Usagimon.

As a Manimon, they adopt a more hardy personality and an ego which is full of self. Tamers who acquire Manimon as a partner must be patient and firm with them as they can become pretty demanding of attention and can get jealous if their tamer doesn't pay enough attention to them.

At night, he can absorb the light from the moon, storing the light inside his body to use in battle. His first attack, “Moon Fire”, gathers the moon essence in his body and sets it alight, throwing it at high speed at his enemy. Concentrating his power by putting his palms close together, he can create a pillar or beam of silver fire that can be shot at the enemy or into the air as a signal beam.

His second attack, “Dazzle”, splits himself into thousands of tiny particles of light, where he will rush at the enemy, blinding them.

BlackManimon is the dark version of Manimon. Infected with a virus upon digivolution, this digimon likes nothing more than to bring others into darkness with his attack, “Dark Shine”. Where Manimon's “Dazzel” emits a very bright light, “Dark Shine” emits darkness, creating a space where no light can enter or shine.

BlackManimon's other attack is called “Viral Burn”. He unleashes a ball of dark fire from his horn which leaves a nasty burn upon impact. Without an expert healer, the burn is very hard to get rid of.

(NOTE- Manimon X looks the way he does because I fashioned the design on a very old species I created over 11 years ago called the “Draggerpaw”. They were rabbit or dog like with long ears and paws that drag on the floor)
