Dominic's personality is 50/50 theres the "king" side of him thats Blunt, Narcissistic , Easily angered, and Dominant and the "husband" side of him that only his queen, Annette , has the pleasure of seeing.

Dominic is very cunning and mischievous. keeps his plans to himself. He rarely trusts others with information for fear of them using it against him or them accidentally/purposely slipping the info to someone else. He has very little patients for incompetence and expects 500% from all of his staff that aid him in ruling the world of the arena.

Backstory:

Dominic's ultimate goal is to conquer worlds. He built the arena to find a champion that would willingly help him raise an army to go out and destroy peoples of all races across the universe. Unfortunately, the arena wasn't enough. The champions he had never lasted long enough for him, so he sought out an alternative.

One night, a falling star hit the earth near his kingdom. Its energy was powerful enough to knock out power for miles, causing the nearby village to go into a state of emergency because of the freezing temps. Dominic later found out this falling star was a goddess who was outcast from the heavens. The goddess's name was Amphimere . Dominic found his opportunity to use her powers to use towards his goal, but when he asked her hand in marriage (giving him rights to her body and powers to use as he wished) she refused him, seeing his evil intentions. Her power being able to see inside a person's heart among other things (like blessing weapons to use against divine beings)

He became angry with her; abusing her in a not so rated pg way -coughs- but eventually figured out how to control her. Her halo. the green, shaped energy that floats above her head, gives her, her divine power. The halo isn't a halo, but a divine familiar that shares a bond with her and connects their souls together. Without it, she is powerless. If it died, she dies. Dominic captured is and used it as black mail against her. The familiar granted Dominic divine abilities that mortals could never obtain. He learns how to manipulate the elements, and he can manipulate time to an extent. he can alter time, reverse time, fast forward time, and pause time. but only in a maximum of 1 hour at a time. While he has this familiar in his possession, he is immune to the gods' abilities and can use her abilities on other people.

Even after gaining all this power, she still refused to marry him. He was tired of her games so instead of forcing her to marry him, her wanted her to offer her hand willingly.

He heard a rumor of a woman trapped at the bottom of a lake on another world. A beautiful one. Beauty that put any goddess to shame. And Dominic thought this woman would be the perfect bait.

Annette was a woman that was imprisoned and left to drown by the towns people that turned against her because of her power. Dominic’s only intention was to use her to make Amphimere jealous enough to throw herself at him. But it didn’t work. Annette fell madly in love with him and to win over her heart, he had to be kind and gentle to her. He spoiled her with his power and riches. But because of her beauty and innocence, he too fell in love with her.

Dominic made Annette queen of the arena and locked Amphimere up in a cell no one but he can reach. Using his ability to alter time, he trapped her in a time loop that only he can enter. She is forced to live the same day over and over until he visits. Then when he leaves she repeats a different day. Unless someone is able to steal he divine familiar from Dominic’s possession, she is trapped forever

Dominic is the king of a very large world that centers around his arena. The world is very cold. sometimes reaches temps that can kill a normal human within a few minutes. Luckily with the technology, the housing and arena are heated to comfortable temps. Tunnels underground allow people to travel without being outside during the coldest season. this world sees snow 95% of the year. The extreme cold season lasts about a month and a half out of their 21 months. (referencing off earth time)

In the arena. Slaves fight for status. the highest status they can achieve is Dominic's champion. That only has one position. Once someone becomes the champion. Dominic rewards them with anything except their freedom. Luxury living. If a champion loses. Dominic takes their rights to the rewards and they die. Training starts when a child turns 5 years of age. learning strategies etc. combat training starts at age 10 (roughly depending on how well developed the child's body is). Once the child reaches age 18, they enter the pits to fight beasts. once their trainer thinks they are ready, they move on to the arena where they fight in front of thousands of people. Rarely anyone escapes the arena. and if they do, they're hunted down (by a special breed of hunting beasts that i haven't quite figured out yet)

Dominic also has servants around his castle if trainers deem them unfit to fight. These servants are met with strict rules they must follow. Basically if you so much as looked at him sideways he’d strangle you. No one in his servant staff is allowed to look at him or he’ll have their eyes removed He has a number one rule for his servants “If you have a tail. It will be tucked between your legs with your head down in the presence of your king”

He is dubbed by many names
-the "dragon King" because of his abundant collection of Dragons that he has captured from various worlds.
-the "cursed King" after the curse that was put on him for killing a god for their power

Dominic's older brother by blood is Silver

Amphimere is the only one of the Gods that has a Divine Form . She takes this form when using too much of her power

has the ability to alter the perception of someone's mind, turning them against someone else. for example. he could turn off all the positive emotions someone has towards someone else and vice versa and the two would both attack each other. my concept of a "God" would be that their life energy is solely dependent on the people they rule over. if they are at war with each other, his life energy stays full. if the people are at peace, he risks fading before they fight again and that's why he hangs out at Dominic's arena. cause people are constantly fighting there

and because of Amphimere, Dominic's imprisoned goddess, he found out how to stay immune to Amulius's abilities and the other gods'

God Of Fear And Misfortune

the actual "god" part is the shadow beast. it possesses young children or incredibly vulnerable people (they have mental issues like severe depression) and it uses their body to feed on prey. it lives on the host's fears and amplifies them. the shadow can take any form. as a character. this girl is mute and incredibly shy. she never hesitates to take orders from dominic because she fears the beast that is in side of her. dominic took control over it when he stabbed the shadow with a special staff that he forced Amphimere to bless, causing the shadow to be imprisoned as well until it swore a divine oath to him. a divine oath forces a god to complete a task they promised to do or they face death. oaths are made by a blood pact. the god must make themselves bleed and make the other (dominic) drink it.

Rosario

rosario is the god of pleasure and good feelings. his ability is the let people give into their deepest desires without consequence. either by sex without getting tired, or getting drunk without the hangovers. he has been known to let people go on a killing spree, letting them kill the people they hate and bring them back to life soon after like nothing happened.
