Location: Village of Bari Imam, Islamabad, Pakistan

Nurpur Shahan is the name of the Village that has evolved around the shrine of Bari Imam. After over four months of self isolation, I finally decided to take my camera out onto the street. Kind of work out the cobwebs and flex my shutter finger. After a general walk about in the Park, I headed to one of my most favourite spots for "street", and that is the Shrine and Village of Bari Imam.

I was quite taken aback that nothing seemed to have changed and everybody was just carrying on with their life as if nothing has happened.

I came across this young apprentice boy, learning the trade of being a motorcycle mechanic. He was completely indulged in his work, and finally I managed to get some eye contact.

“Child labor and poverty are inevitably bound together and if you continue to use the labor of children as the treatment for the social disease of poverty, you will have both poverty and child labor to the end of time.” — Grace Abbott

But sometimes there are really no other options ....
