Description
urrhurrImcreative. So I'm really proud of this.
It's one of my entries for *chaotic-anime-power 's contest where the big prize is getting featured in her artbook.
I highly doubt I'll place considering lots of great people will enter 'cause of the prize, but this is definitely my favorite thing I have done so far. <33333
I really hope you like it, regardless of if I win or not. c:
I spent lots of time on it. ~

I want to start this critique by saying once again that you have come quite a ways in your art since i first started following you, and you will only continue to get better.
So first of all, I'd like to point out all of the things that are fantastic, the most immediate being the shading/lighting. you did a really nice job with the light from the magic effect and how it bounces off of the character. Same with the moon and her body from the waist down. It does a great job of portraying her standing out in the moonlight. On thing you might want to try for your next piece is to create more contrast between light and dark shades to help the viewer distinguish them easier. The only place where the shading seems a little too simple is the hair. It sort of looks a bit like plastic when it is shaded in a uniform manner. It takes a lot of work to make it look good, but practice will help!
Next I'd like to touch a bit on anatomy. I hate being excessively nitpicky on anatomy because usually artists already know theirs needs work, so I'll try to keep it short while addressing the biggest areas of interest. Anatomy is hard, and for the most part yours is great save for the head and shoulders. The head is a bit too tall and it isn't sitting correctly on the neck. If you look at your profile in a mirror, you can see that your neck starts right under you chin and goes all the way back past your ear, almost to the very back of your skull. The other part that stands out is the shoulders, which are very wide. Women's shoulders should not be any wider than their waist, and in both men and women, the shoulders tend to slop downward (usually more noticeably for women). Lastly, the hands are a bit too small. The scale tool is your friend!
Technique aside, I think you have a really neat character here! She has some lovely details in her outfit that make her interesting, and I like how you decided to put her in the moonlight rather than a daytime scene. It makes her magical ability seem all the more magical! I think you did a fantastic job overall and I certainly hope you place!
